You guys sure have it easy out there. You don't have to pad the ditch, use gaskets on every piece of pipe, you don't have to use pipe eze, or put sand over the pipe, put down caution tape, compact material around the pipe, or backfill in lifts with compaction equipment. And get a soils inspector to check everything you do every lift or two.
Wow!
I'm jealous. 😁
They probably would have supplied more gaskets if you asked for them.
In their rush to shut down their factory they may have been careless to supply all the gaskets you need.
Lordy Lordy MBHTS filling in on second shift. Great team effort by all. Keep Gunner busy, before you know it he’ll be digging perfectly 👍🇺🇸
Gotta love the old timers . They knew about the dump.
Good looking young man. All the help on one job. Nice work.
nice to have a special guest star.
👋🏼groetjes uit Holland.
I started watching for info on repair of heavy equipment, and keep watching for the entertainment.
Lol thanks Dan have more repairs coming
Love the new hired help.
Thanks
Glad to see Aaron 👀 back
👌Hallo vorm Germany great work
Glad to see the son at work day still available
the capt. parked on the strap so no one took it.i liked this you guys running the same job in the same week
Everything looks good. Take care and have a blessed weekend.
Thanks
The smile on Gunner's face = priceless. God bless
another fine job gunner in traning on the skid steer
Great to see the complete crew all on one job. Thanks for sharing. Gunner will be taking over before you know it. Kevin
Thanks Kevin
I'm glad to see you finally got some help out there. Looks like gunner is soon to be the BBTS, to fill in for MBTS. Nice JOB!!!
If Aaron ever leaves your videos wont be the same. You guys remind me of myself and my Brother.
Thank you sir I’m trying to get him to keep me around 😜
Love seeing Aaron And Mr. Millennial and The captain You all cracked me up
It was good to see you needed "man behind the scenes " to instruct you how to do under the sewer pipe, nice to see him though.👍👍🇬🇧
Thank you for your explain. Cool video thank you.
Thanks
Hey Mike, that "t" answers your question about which way the bell is supposed to go!!! I have never seen a cast iron pipe in a house with the bell facing down stream and it works the same as clay. LOL
Just the same as how you use a funnel. Small end at the bottom.
Of course that guy that commented that Mike had it wrong in the first part must know something everyone else doesn’t.
Great job guy's,lol forward to the next one 👍
Thanks
I will day u r a good operator I have seen guys tear out sewer lines In day time you did a great job at night
lol thanks
Awesome job with a great group of guys. The foam and cement sure beats packing oakum in the bells.
Yes it does
Great video bro and plenty of banter too. Cheers
You do a very good job and you seem to have quite a lot of fun
when you do it. That is a good combination.
Thanks appreciate that
U are right captain the blue pills do help the pipe grow. When I heard u say that I laughed hard. Great. Ideo guys and good work.
Gunner was grinning ear to ear, I think he liked doing that with dad.
Awesome Job!!
Thanks
Can tell you guys are all good friends as well as coworkers....can all bust each others balls and no hard feelings, just laughing about it. Love this channel ( and the Captain's, and letsdig18's )
No guys I sit through dialysis on a kidney machine for hours a day every other day I looked at your videos and it helps me get through the days I really appreciate it and keep up the good videos
Glade to be a small help
Another good job in the books. Beat part is the next generation getting it done
Thanks
Running the 304 after dark makes it look like you need to get a few more of the axe handle proof LED lights off of Todd at Truck or Track.
Yes i agree
Are they plug and play replacements for the OEM halogen? I would like to get LED ones for my excavator.
Looks like you are getting a great crew set up their Mike.
Thanks Barry
Good job Gunner, I'm happy that dad is teaching and spending quality time with you!
Good video again that was a pretty good job operating around that pipe with the bucket that good job operating equipment my friend it sure was good good to see Aaron keep the good work up but what do you expect dirt perfect on the job job
Needless to say I’m addicted to your videos!
Glad you like them!
“Probably won’t last that long!” He’s busting your chops already! Aaron is certainly starting to have a positive influence on Gunny!!!
Mikey... the collaboration with Cap’n, NYA Millennial and TMBS was a real treat. For us old first K subscribers it was like a reunion. The newer subscribers can get a feel for just how close knit your little corner of YT has become. Well done.
Now, about that expanding foam... sure wish we’d had it when I was a kid. My dad had this belief that you wrapped the pipe in tar paper when it was in the open... but you had to use shingles where there were tree roots. Trying to get a good seal with three tab shingles was no fun... especially when it was cold and the shingles wouldn’t bend.
Did it work? Well, a couple of those drains are still in use today! There is nothing wrong with old technology... when the hands that use it understand it and CARE!
Great. Content and a great job 👌. Loved when Aaron was hollering to hold up when he already knows your skills. Trying to make out like he was vin control 🤣 🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
Thanks
Man behind the Senes good to see you
I was glad to be back for a few hours 👍🏻
Aaron the man that gets stuff done
😂😂😂that’s right!!😂😂
Nice job again.
The boss showed up to make sure you did it right that boy is growing
Lol
you could add a soft line from your 'hook' end hoop to bucket lift point to keep the lifting hook almost level to allow it to come out of the pipe when thru
Great video buddy gunner is gonna be the next dirt perfect Jr
That little guy is getting a lot of knowledge. He will be taken over one day. 👍☕️🍀
Just like a one man band playing, good. Thanks.
Awesome job
Aaron to the rescue!
That’s right 😂😂😉
Clay is such a good pipe as long as you fully seal the joints otherwise you can get root intrusion problems. I've scoped clay sewers that are almost 100 years old and they look like the day they were put in.
Kleenman parked on the strap. Because he didn't want anyone to take your handy dandy pipe rig. Lol God bless
😁
Back when I had my Electrical Contracting Company, I could sit and watch a good operator dig all day (nice to be the boss LOL) but there were others that I wouldn't trust digging in a kids sandbox with a plastic shovel! Great job, nice to see a true Operator work!
Thanks appreciate that
''Why we can't have nice things '' That was funny I just thought old Capt. did that so no one would steal it . lol
I do live in NYC we have to worry about theft all the time .
Nice job in a tight space you guys know how to pass the time working with some laughs while doing some serious work..did you get the machines running and back to work.? question do the bell ends point up grade for the right way to be water tight.
With my reading glasses on I thought that was Aaron stting on your knee in the skid steer. Great team work lads. Dont let the covids get you. Stay safe.
😂🤣😂🤣
MBTS is a little bit taller but then Gunner has a few years to grow yet. 😉
😂😂😂
One of my favorite dp moments 2:10 -2:15
First you're laying pipe in the dark, and then, laying pipe solo. They say variety is the spice of life. Lol. Job turned out nice and I liked the info about the clay pipe usage/manufacture. Stay safe.
Lol true
MBTS to the rescue again 😎 I don’t know what you’d do without him between your operating skills and his supervision y’all are unstoppable great videos enjoy every one of them
real surprised there was no county inspections!!...
Poor Mr DP, he has to work all night to make sure kleeman doesn't pull out all the pipes! 😄😄😄
😁
😂😂😂
Another quality job! Amazing watching you guys work with those machines.
Thanks
Another great job completed. This job goes to show everyone to always get the pros (Dirt Perfect) if you want it done right.
Thanks Gary
Another job well done by a great crew!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Tony
Привет вам из России! Удачи вам.
Having fun digging today With a 2" clearance
My dad worked at a place called Brockway Clay from the early 40's till 1965 when the plant shut down because they ran out of clay in the area to use to make their clay tile pipe. All different diameters as well as square chimney flue liners.
Interesting
Mike so good to see Aaron back don't know it you how your video have help me the way you both work together and joking. I have depression and your videos make me feel better
Alright! MBTS is back.
I was glad to be back for a few hours now back to boilermakin
Nice job
Nice Ending
Another fine job.... good thing man behind the scenes saved all the world for his input was just invaluable as usual. I love Aaron to death, his humor kinda fits my own which is a kind of gallows laugh at myself. I know I was never as good as the rumor was spread to be but then I started the rumor go figure. Thanks for a good best part of a hour spent at home with the new dog who has figured out this is the place to live. He comes on a run and that is only just a few days! A big nice juicy treat waiting cause he has figured out no beatings here... just lots of good boys... bought the same for a men that work with yeah... no cursing cause yer ten minutes late, no having to worry if this is the last day for them... that is unless we all go home... that does happen when not really expected
lol thanks
When you started this job I knew why you were using clay pipe. I remembered watching video when Ralph bought the pipe. Ha ha good job.
The Captain parked on that strap so know one would steal it.
Hi MBTS... that's no joke!
Lol
Howdy howdy it was good to be back for a few hours 👍🏻
@@aaronbummmanbehindthescene4931 did he give a raise yet I keep telling him. And he admitted his eyeballing was off you were not there to keep him straight👍🤣🤣👋🧙♂️🇺🇸🍻👌😎,
@@KG-yn9qi 😂😂😂we are working on that raise
Another fine job. 👌👍
Thanks
Looks like another Perfect job. Would a tilt attachment on the skid steer work for you . Like the new driver, start them young.
Thanks and possibly
Thought for a second man behind the Sean sitting in your lap
I've have heard of sibling rivalry, but coworkers rivalry? 😂😂 Pipe job looks good!
Nice to see Aaron again. I almost missed him!!! Lol
Loo
😂😂😂
Sweet! Guess you noticed one advantage to clay pipe is that it doesn’t move when you go to backfill like pvc. I thought I would see you cut the clay pipe with a chisel, it takes a while but is achievable. Mr. DP great video as usual. I was also happy to see Aaron have a guest appearance and as well as Matt and Captain Kleeman!
Yup
Thank you sir
Captain is practicing theft reduction with gravity!
What a nice job you guys did. Gunner is gonna be a good operator in a few tears. Stay safe
Thanks
This was an awsome vid Mike. You and the Cpt combined vids really brought the job together. Funny too !! I really enjoyed this vid. It's the one were you don't want to miss a second of it. And your son is becoming pertty good at operating too !!! He wanted both sticks to use !!!! And another perfect job done ##### loved it....
Thanks mark appreciate that
Nice video as always Mike. Love to see ya training em young.
you were talking about clay pipe properly laid on a concrete bed and the joints mortared in with a fine gravel covering tamped in it will last 100 years we still use it in the uk but so expensive to buy and lay, good vid as usual.
👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽🙏🏻 Enjoyed!
👍
Cap'n just quickly and effectively secured your lifting jig.
Clay pipe is good stuff, best if the site is stable, the collars are the weak point if cement jointed. Big stuff like that can take a very heavy load.
I dont always lay pipe , but when I do it's by myself ! Lol
I always hated to run across clay pipe. It always seemed brittle. Anytime the dirt around it is disturbed seems to crack.
" O LORD " it's hard to be HUMBLE when you are DIRT PERFECT . ----lol Great video.
Lol
I haven't laughed so hard this early in the morning for quite some time. Please tell Gunner I'm going to put my pants on backwards today just to see how long it takes my wife to notice. If and when she notices, I'm going to tell her it's a new fashion style of pants called Gunner britches. Lol. Have a blessed and safe weekend. Stay healthy.
Lol
@@DirtPerfect She looked at me and just shook her head. I guess she thinks I've lost my mind. After 32 years she should know that I like to make people smile. Have a great day.
“Prob’ly not!” - Dang, Gunnar! Have some faith here!
👍👍
was that light on the CAT304 OEM light or was it one of the truck & track light ?? Also good to see Aaron hang around I thought you were going to bend the child labor law's LOL
😂😂👍🏻
Too funny ...."Poured some blue pills on it" 🤣
When I worked with clay pipe we had to put a rubber o ring on the pipe and then grease it so it fitted in the bell
Good-looking job but after a rain or two you will need to come back and fill in the ditch that settled, it could be bad.
Ok
The plastic collapsed because it was not bedded and back filled correctly and don't worry about the cement connection, you did what you had to do. Could have used a piece piece of corrugated that slipped inside the bell end with a reducer, doubtful you had that laying around. 40 years from now someone will probably tag onto that pipe and wonder what happened. 😁 Power rake has been a good investment which gives the finishing touch and adds value.
