apple struddle bar (as you call it apple cake) is really sweet-sour taste (sweddish/european) after meal pastry. Also pasta and red sauce are cooked european/swedish style and definitely NOT SWEET like Filipino style (they call it children red sauce). It's really difficult to compare Asian or Filipino food tastes vis-a-vis Swedish/European menu because their orientation is different from Filipino who are sweet toothed and healthy wide body people. In fact, a slice of cake and a cup of coffee is a mealfood for European. So! now you can distinguish berween European taste from Filipino taste and I know you enjoyed the food.
