Mike: *floors it*
also Mike: somehow the wheels have no grip
also Mike again: *Let's turn off traction control*
Felix EFX does his tune delete traction control
@@maxwell5428 no, tunes don't do that.
@oFriskyPanda yep best traction control on Ford is off watch any mustang video as it shuts off/fails during launch and crashes you
Lol
In the pouring rain no less...
Looks like a fun build and truck. You don’t really want to get too sticky tires for it. The tire slip saves your driveline from breaking. Seems good enough in 4H in the dry. Warmer weather will help. Keep the fun coming!
With the cold weather you wont find grip no matter what tire you use. I have the VMP Gen3 on my Mustang with nitto 315's on the rear. No traction under 50° stick with the Ridge Grappler. It is a great all around tire. Traction will get better in the spring time. Until then, train your right foot to ease into the loud pedal a little easier.
Forcedinduction _Drive Yes that's exactly what I was going to say.
I’ll third that notion... you have 600hp!!! Well actually probably less since you went up in elevation, but either way the bed is the lightest part of the truck so tires won’t help unless you go to gay sticky tires. So why not try adding weight in the bed during the winter?
Goodyear duratrac's would be better but nothing is going to be as good as it was concerning traction.....double the HP n torq = no traction
@@OEF_OIFVET68 lmao duratracs, more like piece of crap. Duratracs are terrible tires, pretty much any tire made by goodyear are trash.
@@harrisonf780 I've had them on two trucks now and I've never had a problem with them
Fyi, when you did your first pulls you pressed the traction control button to "turn off your traction control". The first time you press the button it only partially disables the traction control. Your traction control is a 2 stage traction control. To fully disable it in the Ford F150, you have to press and hold it a second time for about 5-7 seconds and it will tell you traction control off again and now it is fully disabled except for roll over protection. Pressing it again (for the third time) will activate the traction control (so will shutting off the truck and restarting it). Hope this enables you to get the max out of your truck upgrades
or just press it twice quickly...
Or just tune it out! My light blinks all the time, but the computer doesn't pull any power!
@@CornholeSteve that doesn't work. You have to hold it for 5 seconds or so.
Charlie Odom actually, in my 2016 F150, it does the same thing as holding the button.
@@CornholeSteve I don't have your specific truck, so I can't speak to what it does or doesn't do, but all of the 15-17 trucks I have been in requires a long press of 5 seconds.
That truck is a MONSTER!!! HELL YES!!
How much miles does your truck have
I didn't buy a raptor to have it sit in a heated garage and take it for joy rides on Sunday. Nothing wrong with wanting to baby your vehicle but if you don't and it breaks, you fix it, if it doesn't, you keep going! Never know what you can do until you try so thanks for showing us Mike!

🤣😂👍🤣😂
Seriously, you're making over 600rwhp. Even good street tires aren't going to allow you make use of all the power in 2wd.
You complained about lack of traction in the truck when you reviewed owning the truck a while back, and that was stock. Common sense.......
czcams.com/video/umCaTbczL-4/video.html
Dont worry about it blowing up. Mustang's and f150s with a low boost setup are super reliable. There are people out there running 700-800+ HP on a stock block and stock 6r80 transmission with no issues. I would recommend billet oil pump gears and a billet crank sprocket for security, that's usually what gives first.
i think i'm grinning ear to ear as much as you are just watching your reactions haha!! i love it!
Without getting tires good warm, cold road, doubt street tires are gonna help. Reach out to BoostedF150, see what he runs, but he is lowered, and not running near as large. Another suggestion is what Shelby F150 4X4(700+HP) are running.

Good job on this build man. Perfect truck
Shame, the hate spills out of the fans when you make your toys nicer😂
Timothy Moore it’s a shame really. He worked for it.
Jesse McRae it really is.
Not me, I love that truck and his videos. Been watching him for a long time, the haters are usually just broke ass people who drive a busted Honda civic with 250,000 miles on it and are jealous.
@@Anonymous-ml9eb I love watching everyone videos no matter brand . See what works for different folks doing research for my own build. Great videos from day 1 God bless him he did it old fashioned American way. Work hard and can be like such.
@@jesseb280 "worked" for it.
Toyo A/T Extremes have worked well for my Roushcharged F150. Don't waste time or money on Pro comp traction bars, they bend pretty easy. Stiffler made custom length bars for 6" lift and they've worked real well other than replacing the heim joints and welding the brackets to the frame and axle ONE UP Off road Traction bars look to be the best I've seen.
You need a UPR catch can.
You should consider maybe getting a spare tire carrier for the bed. That with the heavy offroad wheel on it might help a little bit with the traction. Obviously better tires are the top priority but a little weight over the rear wheels should help at least a bit.
I had the same rain problem when I went to Florida glad to see you and the truck made it back to Pittsburgh .
I love this thing. Wouldn’t work in the UK, too big for our roads. But in my opinion. You should get street tyres. You don’t go off road all too much. And when you do go you can have the another set of alloys and tyres for off roading. 👌👌
Loving that central Florida weather, right ? Come down again man. We love the hurricanes and tornadoes . My parents got stuck in crummy town in central Florida when I was a kid. So yep, few days extra out of school, ya get new your yard and loss what u want gone. Lol. If your lucky your trailer will pick up and move 3 blocks down the road . Love every video and thanks for the motivation you put in .
your either gonna blow that motor or transmission within 1 year and if not that truck will not see a long milage life for sure
Kevin Brady and he’s has money to fix it this is his job
So? these trucks already last a really long time so he probably wont have it that long
Kevin Brady Yeah hopefully he’s going to bullet proof his truck, like billet crankshaft, billet rods, billet cam, billet dome piston, molybdenum piston rings, ARP studs and bolts, QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft, forged bell housing, 52100 tranny gears, Dana m300, long tube headers, magnaflow mufflers, erg delete. Then stage 1 cylinder head work and aftermarket billet valves, springs and seats.
Shouldnt have many problems as long as he keeps it under 800 rwhp
More upgrades
I’ve grown up working on cars and I still can’t decide if I love the sound of a turbo or supercharger more lol
Keep up the hard work your doing great and the truck is awesome
My 2015 V8 seems so weak now. Love the changes you made to the truck.
Man i love your truck! Its a complete beast! You should do a drag race between the F150, de AMG and last but not least the humpty HAHAHA Many blessings from Nicaragua!
Aj Mendez stay safe and bless you! A lot of people don't know the terrible situation in Nicaragua right now but I do. I was there from June to July and had a good time but feel very bad for all the political prisoners and people being killed by the government. Stay safe from California!
@@adamrock82 thank you very much, you are completely right, Nicaragua is suffering and the president continues to kill like if it was a sport. It's pretty dangerous here but we have faith in our Lord that this is coming to an end. More than 80% of the Nicaraguan population is sick of this tyrant.
I like the tires you have on too. I’m glad you’re keeping the big tire “truck”
look.
I'm waiting for the engine to go.Have you had a speeding ticket yet?
I think your biggest problem is the wicked case of Perm-a-grin your catching. Awesome upgrade! Just don't get yourself hurt, or caught.
Sweet truck dude. Besides the supercharger, have you done any other engine/trans mods to protect it from all the added power? Want to do this as well but dont want to break mine
Now regarding the longevity of the engine a bit more, use Shell or Pennzoil whichever is more easily available in the whole country or the places you usually travel to or plan on traveling (10w60 racing). Don't use the oil 'prescribed' by the manufacturer now. You do want the engine to run a while I guess. Definitely one of your caring subscribers.
Toyo all terrain tires are probably the best at grip on and offroad, as well as very little road noise. The down side is they are a little more pricey but they are worth it. They also last a very long time
I would also say Toto A/T are a very good soft rubber tire that doesn’t have a lot of road noise. But I’m my experience seem to have a lot of traction You do have to rotate them religiously and they do wear very fast. But they are a pretty good tire also in semi cold weather. And they also did ok in the snow.
Just watch out when they are brand new they are pretty in stable when it comes to traction almost like they need to be “broke in”.
I also on the same truck had Toyo proxes 2. And there is no comparison to a street tire. There was no sidewalk roll and they performed awesome. But I don’t know how they would do in snow or cold and I don’t believe that street tires would really look great on a 4wd lifted truck. Mine was 2wd stock ram 1500.
Not even close. Toyos last Long because they have a harder compound rubber = less traction especially in high HP applications. Better off with Goodyear duratrac's better at almost all situations to include snow and mud
Matthew Lingo ridge grapplers
Rick Long I have ran good year duratrac before and they were ok but traction with Toyos was far better if you look at traction ratings toyos are also graded A rating with 600 thead. I wanna say duratrac was 500 with a B traction rating.
Toyos are NOT the best tires for grip...nowhere close!
Yoko G015 tires have great grip. Winter grip rating is what you are looking for if you want traction.
Getting 15 mpg with the supercharger is pretty good, especially considering you keep revving it (new toy excitement!!) which obviously consumes a lot more. Very pleasantly surprised!
Don't drive in the left lane when not passing!!!!!! Seen you in many videos! Just commen courteous! Not proper!!! Not upset just letting you know! Keep the vids coming 😎
Anthony Stubblefield Everyone hogs the left lane in America. It’s not like some places in Europe where they actually abide by that. It sucks but you just have to cut around those people if they’re not going fast enough ...
People don't know about that law. When you come up on them, they get mad. There's even quite a few signs on the road that says state law, left lane for passing only.
I have a 2000 F-250 Super Duty with a 5.4 Triton V-8 and a Whipple supercharger. It has a 8 inch lift with 37-14.50/16.5 BF Goodrich all terrain tires. They have an aggressive tread design and have great traction in snow mud and pavement. They don't make alot if road noise on the highway and I belong to a truck club doing mud bogs and never had a problem getting through even in 5 ft if mud and snow. I would swear by them and I'm very impressed with the traction they have. By the way very nice truck Mike. Great job 👍
Tires?...there are no off road truck tires that are going to hook up with your new monster...A piece of advice...unless your model F150 has 4wd auto, I'd stay out of 4wd hi on pavement...The rear end is pretty stout, but the front is only a 8.8 if I recall...there is an ASS load of load on all the components when in 4wd on the pavement...
Enjoy your new toy!
Tires are not the issue. Cold tires + damp road + supercharger + romping the gas = fun. Don’t fear the fun. Understand your limits. Nice truck. I follow you because I have a 2018 CL63S AMG. I happen to also have an F150 to which I plan to add forced induction. So keep the videos coming.
Press and hold the traction control button until you turn off advance track 😊 that's when the real fun happens lol😉😂 or you can double press the button for sport mode
Why not go with a set of BFG KO2's, they're quiet and they've got decent grip on road. At the end of the day it is a truck and unless you've got some weight in the back i doubt you'll find a tire that's going to be a worthwhile change from the nitto's. Love this truck so much Mike, keep up the good work!
I have a 2019 F150 Lariat Sport with a 3.5 ecoboost
when i heard 0:08 i now want the 5.0
I live down here in FL avd that storm was no joke. I'm glad you made it home safe. Thank you for this video, I'm doing almost the same mods to my truck and I didn't think about those tires having that much of an issue in the rain. One of the best parts about street tires is being able to stomp it and not have this issue as bad. Either way, awesome truck. Keep up the good work.
Dude, I love your truck the way it turned out but your asking the impossible. First off your 4wd hi mode was NOT made to do launches the way you are doing them. Keep doing that and you will be replacing the whole driveline. This is a truck that had 400 hp stock brand new and now you are introducing 608 hp to this older driveline, not advisable .
Second, you are in a lifted truck and your traction is compromised by that alone, you are not going to get that much more traction by changing any tire.
I understand that you got a new toy with all that horsepower, but it is not designed for what you are asking of it.
I agree 100%! His next video will more than likely be "How to spend lots of money fixing broken driveline components after being stupid"!
This is how vmp launches their trucks with even more power. You could say the same thing about them increasing the red line
John you wuss... 🤣😂
**I'm kidding - but in all seriousness, it's fun/awesome!!
I launch mine with over 800hp in 4x4 at the drag strip all the time with no problems, you can always tell chevy owners because they watch Ford videos and start crying. Oh no, his transfer case is going to explode!! Just shut up and go back to Chevy land.
When you laugh it makes me smile bc how much you enjoy your truck drives me that much more to do something like you
LOL worried about 'breaking an axle' while BURYING the needle at 7000 rpm over and over again!
Brian Waller redline on these engines is 7,500 not 6,000
Try the Falken A/T3W tires. I have had them on my truck for 2 years and have had ZERO traction issues. And I live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains almost non stop from October through May.
Nice truck! I would go with the Cooper Adventurer AT. Should be better all around and they are made in the usa!
Matthew Self i wouldn’t I have those on a stock motor 05 Silverado 5.3 and can spin them like nothing
No A/T is gonna give him the grip he needs on the street. With the cold weather extremes he gets in PA he needs an Ultra High Performance All Season tire.
Nitto trail grapplers will help with traction and are not too loud. Also Baja Kits Long travel kit is what I have on my 2014 raptor. Expensive but worth every penny. Good luck with the build!
Drop psi 2 or 4 on back
One thing for sure, with that much HP on a stock trans and transfer case. You will burn both out before too long. You should consider high performance builds on both. Custom drivelines balanced to handle what your giving them, I"ve seen too many twisted drivelines and one that came through the floorboard of a 69 camaro. Tires with better traction will increase the problem. Cool setup in any case. Love the sound of that coyote engine with the blower. Nothing like forced induction.
Waiting for the transfer case to blow up...

@Autovlog you're tires may not be the whole issue. You are experiencing axle wrap, google it. To fix that problem I recommend you purchase rough countrys traction bar kit. I purchased them myself and WOW you will notice the difference it helps keep the axle in place and not allow it to wrap and slip.

Went ahead and looked it up they run BFGoodrich Terrain K02 35/12.5 R20. I actually ran these on an older plow truck. Great snow tires, soft compound, didn't get a lot of miles, maybe 20-25k. Worse then my 2014 Fusion 32k
Cold tires and cold streets will still give issue
Keith Frazier that’s still a good amount of miles for a tire though. The hellcat I had got about 9k out of the stock pirellis and they get 25k out of the michelin Pilot sport 4s
@@techmaster777 I wasn't doing any burnouts or anything. Normal driving, and some plowing. Rotated the tires with oil changes. For a truck and all four tires at same time, its really not a lot of miles. Ive had 50k mile tires, but nothing with this good of traction. Part of the traction is because softer compound, but also part of the shorter miles and faster wear.

I think if you want to keep the supercharge you should get a transmission cooler and you should change the rear deferential ratio.
I suggest if you want to take a look on the “trucool” for transmission cool
And just check the nitro gears for the rear deferential ratio
And good luck 👍🏽
I predict something will be broke within 2 weeks. But you beating on it sure makes for great video.
Awesome. The sound finally matches the speed. The way it should be.
But your not spinning all 4. I'd be that front diff is almost certainly an open diff and the rear I'd be willing to bet is also not a limited slip. You're only spinning 2 wheels. One in front one in the back.
My ‘14 FX4 isn’t an open diff up front but the rear e-locker disengages at 25mph unless you add the Raptor module and shift selector in the dash.
Rain-X Is your friend! It's like a supercharger to your wipers!

Nitto has some with a 32" outer diameter in a 20" wheel 305/50R20 120H XL. They are 12.44" wide. Those might work on your new wheels and give you traction.

Mike, maybe look into a tire that’s not a 10 ply. Nitto makes a 305 Ridge Grappler in a 6 ply. It would help the ride and be a little less stiff and maybe help with hooking up.

I like your truck but... I’m a little confused as to what you want to accomplish. You said that you want tires that grip on the street but want to stick with the off road tire. I don’t think that any tire manufacturer makes what your asking for. Street tires are made the way they are for a reason, as well as off road tires. If you are looking for tires with all out grip, try getting a wheel and tire setup that is meant for the street to take advantage of the power. Such as narrowing the tires to fit into your wheel wells and using a airbag suspension to lower it during the summer. Also, you might want to consider suspension upgrades. This might also help with traction. As for tire brands, Michelin sport cup 2’s (or it it 4’s, can’t remember) are the rage right now in the muscle car community, but I don’t think that they make it for your size rim. Your going to lose the off road look that you want to keep. Just food for thought.
One last thing, you might also want to think about speed ratings if you stay with the off road tire look.

@@chrisservic7774 :You better re-watch the video and OPEN your eyes! You would trust HIM with your life? GOD help you if your wrong!
@@glennfalzo3718 Just because you dont know how to handle a big scary vehicle, or maybe you do and are too afraid to have fun in it because... why are you even watching this video? I swear to God you guys that bitch and moan have a little sewing circle just to talk about how someone in a car did something that you think is dangerous. Did you watch the video? Did you see him going around cars sideways and doing donuts in a school zone with lots of little kids? Shutup
In the end you didn't comment on fuel economy.. It matters to some of us. I, for example, live in a place where diesel costs 4.42 $ per gallon, so that's something to consider. I like your videos a lot. Cheers
I own a new F-150. 2.7. Superchargers in a truck...... crazy. The two I have, I'm very happy with. Looks like you are having a good time. Why not?
I've had good luck with the Goodyear wrangler's, not the best, but fairly quiet and comfortable, and good grip in all the stuff I've put them through
I recommend some weight in the bed, check out suretrax for water bladder that can add up to 500 lbs over rear axle. Sticker tires will help a little.
Scary how much power you have in that beast now. Hopefully better tires and a much better suspension will help. Merry Christmas! 😁🤗
