That bridge in the start of the video pretty much tells me that is the upper Sandy and I used to run this stretch for guide work in a drift boat, but it was real bad mean water with one boulder patch that is absolute wicked and High possibility of eating your boat.
Long gone now guide Steve Koller used to run this water in a drift boat and Jack Smith who is still alive he did this also in a drift boat.
Today I wouldn't recognize the river with many winter floods shifting rocks and bolder and I was last on this part of the river in my 20s with now I am 63 yrs old.
As I gotten older and more knowledge of value of property and how much work I did to buy my boats and gear I own I take deep account of the danger of possible loss of boats and gear doing stupid things!
It is for sure a very beautiful stretch! Yet...very dangerous! Water levels are important when floating this section for sure!
