I think all tge figures in this wave are awesome , but I agree that they could actually use more shading .
Legends two biggest problems are paint and lack of accessories .
Surprised how much I like the look of this guy. The shiny green and bright orange really pop! Decent accessories too, even if the disc is kinda unusable without a stand.
Dig the rating system, Dave. The star being more objective while the seal being your personal thing is a good idea.

Great to see you with the early review! I am looking forward to seeing you do a Tombstone review. He's my favorite Spider-Man villain. I remember asking my grandmother if albino's were real when i first read that issue. Anything that makes me think about my grandmother is special 😊😍
A "flamboyant" review, Dave. The new Jack O' Latern is 10X better than the old one.

I hope they release: The Beetle (Abner Jenkins), Doppelganger, Man-Spider (Peter Parker), The Shocker (Herman Schultz), Dr. Herbert Landon, Big Wheel (Jackson Wheele), Scream (Donna Diego), Carrion (Malcolm McBride), and Shriek (Frances Barrison). They did release Shocker (Jackson Brice) in his brown vest and brown stripes, but not the Shocker as he appeared in the cartoon who was Herman Schultz in black vest and black stripes.
I had the old Toy Biz Jack o Lantern. I loved it but the articulation was limited & weird especially in the arms. This one is very welcome & I'm stoked to have him. He's a beauty!
They did a running change on this one. They put the waist swivel under the belt so the belt doesn’t bend anymore. Got mine recently as an impulse buy 😂 🍻

I agree about Dormmamu, Dave. I painted mine - added yellow to the eyes and mouth and touches of yellow to his flames. Looks 1,000 times better now!
Yeah that was a case of Hasbro getting us to do the work!
The belt issue might just be a QC issue because mine is not warped and is “stuck” in the waist so It moves with ease and has 0 issues imo.
Now we need a classic Dracula, Werewolf at Night, Elsa Bloodstone, and Franken-Castle.

Hello Dave mate. Just wanted to say that I've just got this fig and the waist swivel is fine. The cut is underneath the belt so it doesn't or shouldn't warp the belt itself when you turn the hips.
attempting to buy only 10 figs this year and i have 2 already pre ordered. This wave is making it hard already because this wave is beautiful

Great review and awesome upgrade Dave! Can't wait to see your review on the rest of the wave. Couldn't help noticing that as you're talking about the belt, it wasn't fully glued in on the back; looks like heating it up maybe loosened too much at the waist, haha. Looking at MCU Collector's review, the belt is supposed to stay with the top half of the torso as you twist, so you don't warp anything. Might just be your belt is slightly misaligned at the moment.

Definitely gonna get this guy! Ghost Rider had a really fun and memorable battle with a Lucifer-possessed version of Jack O'Lantern back in 2007 or so and so I've been eyeing the old Spiderman Classics Mad Jack ever since.

@DisplayingModelBehaviour For sure. Surprisingly funny issue, too. Satan is basically possessing bodies to fight GR and uses poor ol Jack O Lantern to cause mayhem with quips and a smile on his face. He even goes to a graveyard looking for reinforcements and asks who wants to join his evil cause and a load of zombies raise their hands from their graves. Great gag. 😂

Mad jack version was Daniel Berkhart and Maguire Beck versions from nineties.

Very nice vibrant color on the figure though despite it has no shading. But it's still a great figure not a deal breaker for me . I'm definitely going to get him not every body nitpick on shading not every feeling the need for it . the same I'm fine with the figure Hasbro did really good here with this jack o lantern I really like him . And it's pretty much close to comic accuracy cool figure . Nice review . Bro 😎👍🏻
This character began after my comic collecting (of current issues) ended, but he does look awesome! My only concern - is he very top-heavy with that pumpkin head? I may pick this one up just for visual appeal!

Objectively, this is definitely the best figure in the wave. What I love most is that this completes the villains from the Genesis animated series Spider-Man game other than Owl, and I don't need an Owl.

I imported him from Hong Kong. (Only way to get legends over here in Japan)
They better make a new pinless Green Goblin from this body, the retro card and the Mary Jane 2 pack are just not good

I said it when it was revealed, but give it time, that torso wasn't made for Jack O Lantern. I love the character, but I think we'll see more Caps on vulcan bucks after this lol
