If Nkrumah was so great, why did we honor Kotoka with the airport? My answer is , we did that because we recognized Kotoka did the nation a great service. Nkrumah declared that the independence was meaningless so they had to get him out. He had already wasted so much of the country's resources in other places on the African continent. Let me ask you this, A country called Gold Coast and a Country called Ghana, where would you rather be a citizen of? We had a great name and Nkrumah messed it all up with his inferiority complex, he was a demon that stole our shine. Imagine the prosperity we would have if he didn't change our name to Ghana. Everything started going down hill when he brought that name 'Ghana' it's actually a stupid name because he couldn't even provide a tangible reason for the name he proposed. When you ask any person from the country what the meaning of Ghana is, they can't tell you! Nkrumah told them it was a name from ancient Mali. A useless reason he gave them and they bought it hook,line and sinker without questioning him. Then he made another stupid declaration when he said, "Ghana, your beloved country is free forever" Nkrumah, you proposed the name Ghana so why exclude yourself by saying 'YOUR' beloved country is free forever! Why not our beloved country? The freedom he claimed was even not true. The people had not even heard the name 'Ghana ' before, so why declare that it was their beloved country?
Dude, the stuff you’re saying is not relevant cuz even kwame Nkrumah himself declared that the so called independence was meaningless unless the entire Africa was independent. The entire Africa is not independent and that’s why Nkrumah’s job is cos 90. Nkrumah messed up. He had to focus only on our country instead traveling around wanting to help others. How are you going to help others when you hadn’t even helped the Ashantis and that got them to leave his party. If Kwame Nkrumah was so great, why couldn’t he die in the so called independent country he had establish. Many people hated him back then and now. If Kwame Nkrumah was so great, why has kotoka who overthrew him been honored wit the naming of the airport in Accra?
What do you guys know about Kwame Nkrumah except what you read in history books. History is always slanted by the chronicler. Who says Nkrumah was and is God. He's just a mortal like any other person. Stop your empty adulation.
