The display for the clock is working, you just need to press a button to set it up. What you hear at the end is not the pump, it's the pressure regulator kicking in, extra pressure is stored for emergency in the 5th grey sphere you see at the bottom, it's probably shot as it shouldn't click that regularly (Once every 30sc or so normally). Also, a pretty strange spec to import, but I guess 30+yo XMs are a rarity regardless of spec
I was about to write exactly that. Beautiful car in good condition but that pump is engaging way too often. It should engage every 30-40sec, more often hints that the system is not keeping pressure. The corners of the body being scratched seems quite typical for this car as it has huge front overhangs. I own a blue V6, beautiful car and it has 3 corners scratched. It seems the previous owner forgot to hit the left rear too.
Love the look of that citroen... As an American who lives in the Northwest I would get interested when I saw a Peugeot... If I would have saw this driving around I would have keeled over
I gess, the Main Accumulator (located on Engine) is empty. Take one from I. F. H. S.. It's nowadays the original Manufacturer from Spheres of Hydropneumatic, also PSA let it producing there. The Changing of Suspensionspheres/Accumulators it's easy. I own self 3 XM y4 V6 (twice ES9J4 and once Zpj4). Enjoy the unique, floating Drive feeling of Citroën XM😊

XM is a nice car. I had similar 1990 model XM with 2.0 Liter engine for a couple of years.
