For viewers in the UK it's confusing when guys in the U.S. talk in gallons, as UK Imperial and U.S gallons are different volumes.........talking in litres levels things out, as it's a universal measurement.

Mr. Williams, thanks for doing the work on this series! Can't wait to see the end results. I have a set of Pirelli SC2 slicks that I've run on track and on the street (I know, I know) for a crazy long amount of time and they've held up great. I'd be interested to know how the DOT SC2 holds up compared to the Rosso.

@@catalystreactionsbw Thank you Mr. Williams. I have, however you provided the exact method, the “how, behind the why” you are testing these, which is exactly what I’m after before I buy my next set(s) of tyres... I don’t recall Mr. Moss explaining this in such detail. Today, for example, in Melbourne it’s a min of 1’C, max of 13’C so with Winter, I’m in no hurry to buy new sets of rubber (as I’m not going to be spending much time at all riding. Hence why I’m even more excited about this test and the time it will take to actually do this correctly. As we all know what the advise from most sales reps is worth... Plus the combination of machine and rider is also a great benchmark. As I’m around the same age, spent 50% of my time on tracks racing and also don’t ever get my knee down on the streets. No need, nor the place. 👍😎🇦🇺

@@catalystreactionsbw Mr. Williams, you and Mr. Moss provided the expert tuition that is lacking these days. I grew up the hard way on my progression to racing Superbikes in the Australian championship in the 90’s. When riders had to communicate what they felt the bike was doing, without the computers of today. Hence why I love the two clicks out stuff. As, basically know one really understands what the incremental changes to a bike, for the riders needs actually matters. To this day, I adjust others bikes in the same way (for free) as they are usually mates of mates... Next time you both are in Australia, I’m sure I can organise a track day at my old home race track being Phillip Island. 1.5 hours from Melbourne. Keep the great content you provide coming. 👍😎🇦🇺

I love that you guys do this type of real life testing - and I am still puzzled about the "Moss Pressure Principles" (MPP). I am trying to learn as much as I can from your videos.
My Ninja 1000SX came with the S22 installed from new, but when it had to get a new pair (after just 8000 km/5000 miles) my dealer/garage suggested a pair of Pirelli Angel GT2, because the bike is mostly for long distance touring. They have done around 2500 km so far and are holding up well. Do you know those tyres, and would you say they are more or less equal to any that you are currently testing?
In a couple of weeks I will have to do first 700 km highway with a fully loaded bike for touring. Then I will have two days of track riding school. And then I will do two to three weeks of curves and twisties (again with the fully loaded bike) on some of the best roads in the world (in Spain). If I were a religious man I would pray to God that the tires will get me safely all the way home.
PS: There will obviously be a lot of fiddling with the suspension settings on that trip so I hope I have retained some of what Moss has taught us ...

And also your tyre segmentation is off.
Q3 and Rosso Corsa II are Hypersport tyres (30% track, 70% fast-paced road riding).
    Power 5 and S22 are Supersport tyres (all-round road-oriented fast-paced riding).
Since Michelin don't have something between Power 5 and Power Cup, you should compare Rosso III or IV and Dunlop Sportsmart whatever.
