I was so sad and devastated when we lost him. I got to meet him after a show in 2008, and he was the kindest, nicest, and most humble person I have ever met. So friendly and kind. I miss him everyday.
I never met him, but I thought he was fantastic, and I’m SO sorry he didn't recognize how many people loved him. I come onto CZcams to rewatch him, like now! He will go down in history!
@@Loveoldies50 it's not that he didn't know people didn't care about him. He had a rare form of Dementia called Lewy Body Dementia. It's like a combination of Dementia and Parkinson's. He actually spared everyone and himself the horrible process of his mind breaking down

I saw Robin live at Purdue University. I never laughed so hard in my life. The tears of laughter were pouring down my face. My stomach ached from laughing so hard! RIP

It wasn't just alcohol all of his life. His had drug problems like cocaine and stuff. His best friend even died of drugs. Some Hollywood stars can't cope with being a Star but then we really don't know what he was suffering from except for his doctors and psychiatrists. He can be depressed from anything and being 63 while being famous around the world and have gain whatever he ever wanted, he probably thought, "I can't take this anymore...What else do I have to live for?"
