All these Nigerian artists you are talking about dominated the African scene before going global, Davido still had a mega concert in Rwanda last week, Burna is shutting down South Africa next month. I watched a Koffi Olomide concert as a boy years ago in Lagos, now I live abroad, if Koffi shows up in my city, I’d be the first to get a ticket. . Ask yourself, in what African country is Ghana music dominant today? In what African country has a Gh artist successfully headlined a concert in the last 5 years?

Valid question. Another one is Shatta that they are projecting to sell 20k capacity has he ever headline any show in any African country?
Secondly has he ever done 5k venue sold out in UK?

Why do Ghanaians shy from the fact that they don’t have enough Afrobeats hit. People are not buying Rap,Dancehall or Highlife. The world has been listening to Afrobeats and that’s why Nigerians can sale out venues. If I give Shatta wale or stonebwoy 2 million dollars to hosts a show at the 02 , I swear they can’t sale it out

C-Real 👍, "Culture daily" are now singing from "Baba Sadiq's hymn book" where he insist every🇳🇬 success has a "financial element or financial component", money money money.
Not once has he mention "music or the sound", I'll advise 🇬🇭pundits to listen or bring on 🇬🇧promoters. Alordia and Dennis have both been emphatic, that 🇬🇭 music does not "cut across" into other communities and Ghanaians hardly attend shows (work & church)
March 2022 my daughter went for Davido's show with 2 🇬🇭friends, when I asked if they were going for the next day's show (Kidi & Kuami Eugene's Indigo show) they weren't even aware 🤔🤔
To fill the O2 Arena your music must be popular & known and on "rotation on the radio and in clubs" in 🇬🇧, you must also have a solid fun base..
I have never heard Shatta’s song anywhere here 🇬🇧 "wishful thinking is not thing" 😡😤😡😤

How do you get 20,000 Ghanaians to fill out the O2 for an event they have little or no interest in but have to attend out of patriotism? This is not the same puzzle Nigerian artists deal with. For Nigerians, it is simply about getting fans of every nationality to attend their favorite artists' concerts. Ghanaians looking for shortcuts.
Even if O2 gives you the arena for free and production for free, no Ghanaian can fill half of the O2. I don't even see why Ghanaians should be aspiring to sell out the O2. This wasn't i their agenda before. What I expect them to do is support Ghana in the Park and help that platform grow.

Ghana cannot even successfully tour African countries or dominate the biggest music market in Africa which is Nigeria, but their ego is doing the 02. You see the backwardness of this people, you want to run on the big stage when you cannot even crawl on the small stage. They keep asking the question why why why, but we are better than Nigerians, how come they are able to successfully do these wonders. Well, Talent and the business savvy needed in music or movies making no dey Ghana. This is truly the honest truth and the final analysis. So you have a country with a lot of egos on their perceived greatness but with nothing to show for it.

Our artists needs to invest more into fashion, associates their brands with footballers(stonebwoy & Kudus) and they need to stay in Europe more than Africa. Stonebwoy can decide to buy basketball jerseys in America, get autograph from famous players and start sharing it to people (especially young people)on the street. He can also take pictures and short videos with people just to grow the brand stonebwoy. Lastly, he and his management can get a cab(taxi) to pick people to work for free . All the above suggestions can grow Stonebwoy's brand in Europe and the music alone cannot do it. All our artists can do the same. You guys are doing an amazing job.👏👏👏
