DELL INSPIRON 15 3000 - NO POWER

In this video, I work through a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 to try and try to troubleshoot why it will not power on. Hopefully this will give you some ideas how to work through similar faults on your own laptop.

I'm sorry, I bought a replacement Super IO but it arrived unprogrammed. I may return to it if I can find someone with a programmer to help. Apologies.

It means IO chip had internal short(s) if it can influence both input voltages?
I would expect it to be very hot under finger.
