Our biscuits are not sweet. We don't put sugar in the mix, so you can have savory biscuits. We're as yall (southern talk) put sweetness in the mixture. I hope this help❤😊
I find it funny that we still are on the name conversation. But I love hearing people tell their name stories.
My name, Cheryl, was very common in my age group. My best friend throughout my school years was named Cheryl. I was Cher and she was Chair. Yes, pronounced same as a chair. Everyone still called us both Cheryl, but those were our names for each other.
That’s how I started signing everything with Cher.
When my kids were young I had another friend named Cheryl. We were both homeschool moms.
Later when I worked, I would sign my name as Cher in emails to my boss. He would often write back with lines from Cher (Bono) songs. We had a lot of fun doing that.
Orange became my favorite color because I love the orange California poppies. Then I became a fan of a baseball team that has orange as their color.
Orange makes me smile. Like a big full blown smile. It brings me such joy.

Hello from Kansas! I am a Rebecca too, but I prefer to go by Becky. I love JD Robb too! My favorite series ever. It's been a while since I have had time to read or listen to a book though. I always enjoy your WIP and Waffles! I listen during my lunch hour, while I work on my WIP too. I love biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. It is definitely a savory breakfast.
❤ watching videos while recovering from carpel tunnel surgery. Our biscuits are on the savory side, just a pinch of sugar to help with browning. Our breakfast gravy is a sausage gravy, like crumbled breakfast sausage then its mixed with seasonings flour as a thickener and then milk. So it's a white gravy :) canvas is looking great thank you for your hard work on the advent ❤

Hi Rebecca, Jan here from Australia. Love listening to your waffle. When I was a child…..a few years ago now lol….my mum used to make pancakes as a treat for some Sunday night dinners. They would almost be as big as the plate and we’d squeeze lemon 🍋 juice on them and sprinkle white sugar over them. You’d then roll them up, cut them into about 3 slices and enjoy ☺️! You made my mouth water just thinking about them, it’s been so long since I’ve had them. We’ve been lucky enough to visit the USA many times and their pancakes 🥞 are also delicious. They are more like large thick pikelets and I’ve had them with maple 🍁 syrup and bacon 🥓 or smothered in blueberries 🫐 so they are quite different to the ones I grew up with…..but also yummy 😋
I’ve just heard you read out and discuss my previous comment about the way we use the cases regarding top to bottom & left to right. I have always loved reading and read a lot but I strangely didn’t make that connection. However, I live my life by lists! My diaries and calendars have to go top to bottom. So you’re absolutely correct! 😳😂 How fascinating and insightful all this is! 😂 Hope everyone has a lovely week x
Hello Rebecca. I am on a catch up for your videos. I didn’t do much during the summer. But now that the fall is here, I am back at it. I got to the part in your video about kitting up another DP. I kept telling the screen, NO NO finish your HAED painting. I am rooting for you to finish by the end of the year. You don’t have much left. It was great when you were doing a section a day in the morning. I vote for finishing that one 😊🥳🥳🥳
As far as I am aware in the US we don't have HP sauce/brown sauce. Thanks for answering my seemingly strange questions. I have found some British air ambulance/midwife shows so I was a little confused.
So excited for the two tone trays and lid for 2024(💚💜 go great together).
As for biscuits and scones being the same I personally think they are not. They have sort of the same texture but scones are for sure sweet and biscuits do not have sugar in them so you can have bacon or sausage on them as savory but can also have butter and jam/jelly for something sweet.
For the 24 day advent. I plan on having hubby put it in the top of the closet so out of sight out of mind, then putting a reminder on my calendar at Thanksgiving to pull it down.
The number of extra goodies you are making for the Diamond Painting advent have me hoping for extra money.
Your family is so awesomely supportive of this hobby and I love it.

You kept me company while working on some coasters for Christmas presents and planning on some Christmas cards I'm going to make.I also go top to bottom on kitting up my drill pots, don't know why but it just makes more sense t be (but them I'm known for doing things different to most people). On the subject of scones what about a cheese scone- that's definitely savoury.
I definitely think u shd do White Christmas as a Wip'n'waffle. That one has caused SOOO much interest in the group it makes perfect sense. For a smaller round why don't u let ur decision wheel choose one. That way u can feel virtuous cos ur taking one from ur stash so that's a win too 😊😊 ❤ xx
Me from Tunø Danmark again - I have just the other day finished Cosmic Tree Of Life from Dreamer Deigns and oh it is beautiful. My next big canvas will be Kingdom Of The Clouds from DAC and my next small ones will be my 4 kits from PaintGem. I only work with square diamonds and I looooove doing this craft. WONDERFUL idea for the lid, I would love to get one when they are available, at rhe moment I am DP in the lounge and have a bit of a squish between 😂the portable table and easel and our coffee table, so I am forever knocking my tray over and spill drills everywhere, this lid may help a lot
Birkenstocks are incredible! I wear mine all the time! I love how I can adjust the straps if my feet are fat that day. A nurse I had always commented on my shoes, calling them Jerusalem Cruisers!
Yes, I've heard of biscuits and gravy for breakfast, it's eaten that way in the southern states of U.S.A.. I live in the upper state of Massachusetts and no one up here would dare eat biscuits and gravy for breakfast.

I would personally kit up a round 30x40, to have something simple and easy (that's not quite paint gem minis). Not only does it work through your stash, but it also will help you have a round (especially if you've got two squares planned).
Personally during the week, since I work full time, I'll do a 30x40 during the week, and work on my large scale projects on the weekend. It means that they take forever to complete, but favor my schedule and mental energy levels.

Oh…the newest J. D. Robb book comes out in September! Right when you are so busy with advent stuff! Now what are you going to do? I think we will be hearing that you are working on the White Christmas painting and listening to the new Robb book. I think that should be your reward for slaving over the advent activities for so long. Thanks for waffle! Great as usual.
I'm back with you today but might be done in two parts as tea will be in the middle of this.
We got home from the Wedding on Friday evening so I have caught up but still not doing any crafts as now the painting has started. Base coats are on and we picked up some test pots today. So hopefully by the end of next week the lounge should be ready for the next stage. I'd love to see the White Christmas painting worked in wip & waffles. Looking forward to finding out about the December Painting.
I’m so excited it’s 10 days until my birthday!! (30th August) I’m turning 17 and will be able to drive, I know that my dad has got me a Vicki Davidson diamond painting from DAS but I don’t know which and my mum has got me a splatterworks diamond painting from DAS but again I don’t know which, I also got a mystery bag from your shop and told my dad to give me the money for it for so I can have the mystery bag for birthday 😂 I can’t wait to find out what I get!

Hi Rebecca, I got a notification today my august release is waiting for me in my mailbox 📫 so I’ll get to open it tomorrow. Regarding what else to kit up, add a 30x40 round. You’ll get the satisfaction of a quicker finish and work that stash down. I love 30x40’s since they fit perfectly in the A3 (?) portfolios. I’m going to have to try the glue strips. If I can find them in the 🇺🇸, otherwise I’ll have to wait on a future order. I’m looking forward to seeing your husband’s future designs from the 3d printers. It fascinates me.
Pillsbury is a popular brand for breakfast biscuits in the southern US. I grew to love sausage and pepper gravy over them. Navy here calls that SOS ak s* on a shingle

I giggled because you tried to convince yourself to work on the Christmas painting and this reminded me so much of myself when I have a certain painting in my head and I try to ignore the decision wheel with all of the older and beautiful paintings that are waiting for me. I just finished Mermaid Summer from our smallshop. I am looking forward to start a new one. Finishing this last square of a painting is the most exciting feeling, especially if you have worked on a real big painting

Back again, Scones in UK come as sweet and savoury , I make and eat Cheese scones or Cherry scones not too fussy on jam and cream . I have made pancakes to put in with mince instead of pasta and these are savoury but was brought up with a sweet pancakes with lemon or fruit.
By the way Libraries are all available on line now and they do have facility for e books but ours isn't well supplied with supplied.

At the same time....I agree pancakes and scones are sweet, I have seen cheese scones but never tried them just don't fancy them as scones are sweet 😀 I have been using the glue lines fir about a year now and love them I either cut them to size or double them over for my multi placer, I also use it for my AB's too. Can't wait to see what the Xmas painting will be and so excited for advent box 😍 but I know I won't open it til it's time 😊 loving my mega tray sooo much that I am now in trouble cause I need to buy all the colours! 😂 thanks again for listening to your customers and fulfilling our every want and need 😂 xxx I also think you should do white Christmas so it's finished for Xmas and do some round 30 x 40's to fulfill the need for rounds and finishes, I'm so tempted to buy white Christmas but I have a large stash to work through already 🤔 what to do? 😂 xxxx

I just saw HP sauce in the US for the first time at an Irish pub! Also, I had to go egg free when I was breastfeeding my youngest and found a recipe for pancakes made with bananas instead of eggs and I really enjoy them! They are a lot denser and obviously taste different but may get you that fix without paying the price
I think the skinny pancake you refer to is called a crepe in the US. Also, we have Fat Tuesday just before lent. I think what it is called in the UK is a bit nicer even tho it is basically the same thing. 😂

I received my August launch items today. So happy to finally have my orange zesty trays! I won't be hiding my advent calendar when I receive it, and I won't open it until December 1. I have willpower! 😁😁😁 What you describe as thinner pancakes are crepes to me.

When kitting up I also go from top to bottom, starting with the top left corner. Hmmmm. I do use spreadsheets at work daily?
Hi Rebecca! Thanks for your videos. Re the pancakes, we call them ’crepes’ here in Australia, so yummy with lemon juice and sugar! Also, I’m with you re bacon with scones and pancakes, not for me. 😝 I have friends who like to mix salty and sweet 😁… nothing wrong with it, it’s just not for me. 🤪🥰💖

Out pancakes are made with the same ingredients as Yorkshire pudding except for pancakes you add more liquid 😊 Here's one for you to try Rebecca, a cinnamon bagel, bacon, bbq sauce and maple syrup 😊 the first time my son served one to me I thought he'd gone mad... but oh boy it was delicious 😁😘💚
We have a popular breakfast or brunch menu item of pancakes or hotcakes ( more like a pikelet) with banana bacon and maple syrup here in New Zealand, which 8s a very interesting combination but delicious, so all sweet except the bacon which gives a salty edition a bottle like salt with caramelmI suppose. But I am also like you Rebecca, where Scones and for me cake type Muffins would always be sweet, I don't like cheese scones or savory muffins, sweet for me all the way.

Hi Rebecca. I have finally been multiplacing and really enjoying it! Where do you get your glue strips from as I have to keep replacing wax every 20 minutes or so 😢. Great WIP. 😊
… I used to work with a MONSTER who would open his chocolate advent calendar at the bottom, pull the tray out, peel the foil back and eat EVERY SINGLE ONE on the first day 😮🤦🏻♀️ to make it worse, he would put the tray back in and tape the bottom up. Then for the rest of the month he would open the window for the picture. Honestly. He really didn’t look the type either. I could never look at him the same 😂

Thanks for subbing! The pen tips and multiplacers I use are from my shop here: addmorezest.com/shop/p/tips I also use glue dots in my pen rather than wax as it lasts much longer.
While watching today's waffle, I did it! I finished my 70x40 Mario painting I've been working on for my brother! It turned out so good. Photos and a video are on the Facebook page. But thank you for all your videos for keeping me company while I worked on it. I had hoped my custom would be here when I finished, but it's delayed in customs so I'm going to need to kit up a smaller one to tide me over until it comes and I can start it!
