Please yaya tel me...I do not have propandinol and panthenol, what can I replace them with?
Yayyyy!!! I’ve always wanted to make this. Thank you so much
You are so welcome! I hope you like it! 😊💜
Incredible ! I Love it
Thank you! 😊💜
Excellent video. Thank you so much. You share so much and I appreciate how hard you work to bring us these videos ❤
Thank you so much! I am happy to help. 😊💜
Wow you are so creative. You made another winner 👍🏾
Thank you so much!!!! I will try to bring back the flaxseed version that is easier. 😅😊💜
Your the only truthful person on this youtube channel i just pity those that make use of flaxseed as curling cream. Just dont last
This looks amazing I’m wondering if the thought ever occurred to you to put together kits for your followers so that we could purchase kits from you to make the products that you make it can get expensive buying all of these products, as I’m sure you know. I would love to try this for my granddaughters hair but it’s a lot of product to buy for just one little one😊
HI! Thank you! And yes I have been working on something special! I hope to introduce it soon. 😊💜
This looks sooo good and advanced 👍🏾
Thank you always Sunni! 😊💜
@@YayaDIYCreationshow about the shelf life is it one year
Wow the diys are wonderful but to many ingredients for a beginner. You are simply amazing. Thank you so much for sharing.
I don’t think this is beginners mixture. Look up her mango body butter, that’s a great beginner mixture. From what I remember it’s just a butter and oil ratio mix. Not multiple phases. My favorite body butter mix is a 60/40 ratio, if you like your butters thick and dense, do 60% butters, 40% oils. If you like your butters more creamy and smooth, do 60% oils, 40% butters. Any butters and any oils can work, that best suits your skin, hair, or whatever the mixture is being used for. Start small and work your way up. Truly I haven’t done anything of this extent either but there’s so many beneficial things you can make for your skin and hair that aren’t as difficult as this recipe.
HI! Yes, I completely understand. I try to have a variety of difficulty levels on the channel. I have many request for more advanced formulations. I try my best to balance both. More simple formulations will come. 😊💜
@@ThePomskysPalace Right. This curling custard is more advanced compared to the body butter. However, it is still pretty basic for a curling custard that you would purchase in the market today. 😊💜
@@YayaDIYCreations You’re always killing it girl. Keep it up! I haven’t gotten to this phase of chemistry yet but 1 day I’ll build the courage..I’ve been obsessed with different mixtures of body oils at the moment. I’ve been focusing on the whole, keep the moisture in from the shower, oil up in the shower or right after while you’re still wet…omg it’s been life changing!
@@ThePomskysPalace Thank you so much! I will be sure to keep a variety coming. I love body oils as well. You can be as creative as you want with them. 😊💜
Girl, I have all those ingredients; and an overhead stirrer i purchased 2 months ago. Gonna try out this formula for my niece. She's half black and half Hispanic, so she's got this long curly hair that's absolutely gorgeous. This is going to be lovely on her hair. Thank you!
NICE! I hope you like it! 😊💜
Which overhead stirrer?
This is giving, this is the exact consistency i was looking for! i was wondering if you could make a hair gel or preferably a locking gel with a strong hold ? im having so much trouble finding the right formulas that would give a similar consistency like this
Wow - Beautiful. And complex. And expensive. You are a smart chemist! Learnt a lot, though for now I will be sticking to true body butters, emulsified butters, balm, creams, and soaps. 🌞✨
Thank you for the kind words. I will do my best to keep a variety of formulating levels on the channel. 😊💜
You are the best❤❤
Can I replace the Vit.B5 for guar gum?
This recipe is absolutely amazing. I know you said the flaxseed curling custard isn’t stable, would adding powders like flaxseed, slippery elm or aloe Vera be better? Thank you in advance for your time.
looks good. Did you get a chance to compare this one with the leave in?
What is different with leave in conditioner, deep conditioner, hair cream, I see that all use the same ingredients, please is there any differences when making it
What can I use as substitute for the carbomer? Could I use Sepimax zen
Thanks! How long is the shelf life.
Would this ph be considered as balanced since our hair and scalp likes 4.5 - 5.5?
What can I use instead of maltodextrin
Can I use pvp instead for the hair hold on phase A. I use your formula for a hair gel with some additives and other products that I like but I was looking to convert it into a curly cream/ custard.
He’s so cute 🥹💖
Hello, can I use Polyacrylate crosspolymer-6 in place of Sodium Carbomer? I have been meaning to make this for my hair
Can i use xanthan gum i dont see maltodextrin
Can I use this on my wig?
Does it work on 4c Hair ?
I do not have propandinol and panthenol, what can I replace them with?
Is this for natural hair or for relaxed hair too.
Can xanthan gum be used instead of sodium carbomer? If it can,, then how much should it be added?
Hi Yaya. What can I use instead of Maltodextrin? Am very allergic to that product? Thank you 🌺
What could be the substitute for maltodextrin
is there another sodium carbomer that can be used being that the one on the site provided is out of stock until next year april 2024? @yayaDIYCreations
Pls can you drop recipe for a mousee
Yaya how much would you sell this for???? Asking because I’m a small biz owner that sells my own curling custard formulation n I struggle with pricing. Sometimes I consider lowering the quality of my product to make the price more affordable
Yayayy... I you're really helping me slot...
But I was wondering about the measurements. Should Incase I want to make large quantities how I'll I do the measurements
Hi!! You would use the percentages to upscale and make larger batches. Plug in the percentages to total 100% and then input the batch size you like. The calculator will then convert the percentages of each ingredient to grams. I hope this helps. 😊💜
I would really like to purchase from you, when will you put your site back up?
Thank you for the support! I do not have a date for the relaunch, but I hope I can bring it back soon. 😊💜
Are these ingredients organic ?
Awesome job!!! So we can use optiphen plus for this as a preservative right?
Thanks Rita! I wouldn't recommend Optiphen, because it works best in a pH of 6 and below. It is also not that effective against fungus & yeast. You may be able to use it in a pH over 6; but some adjustment may need to be made to reduce the pH without reducing the viscosity of the gel. You may also be able to add a secondary preservative to cover the fungus. However, it may be easier to use a different preservative. I hope this helps. 😊💜
@@YayaDIYCreations ok thx. I’ll do some more research. I appreciate and love you 😘
@@ritapardo9849 Love you all more! Thank you always for watching! 😊💜
Hey Rita, you can use Liquid Germall Plus (0.1%-0.5%). It is a broad spectrum preservative and is effective over a pH range from 3-8.
Thank you Yaya🙏🏽💕please how can I order the C.B. Curling….. thanks in advance
Happy to help! The C.B. Curling? If you are referring to any Chebe Products, the store is currently close. Sorry about that. I will keep you all posted for relaunch. 😊💜
Is All these Ingredients Vegan/All natural ?
Hi iam Dhananjayan india in tamil nadu I likes your website and your formula I have best Liquid Detergents
Hello, madam, is sodium carbomer the same as the carbabol from which the gel is made and is equivalent to Triethanolamine?
Hi! According to different sources & the manufacturers, Carbopol is just a commercial name for carbomer. Sodium carbomer or Sodium Polyacrylate are the generic names. TEA is not needed for this carbomer, unlike other carbomers. I hope this helps. 😊💜
Thank you dear
How did you learn how to formulate products?
Trial & Error and more trial & error. lol. I read and got inspiration from other formulators like Marie from Humblebee & me. Hands on failure is what really did the trick. You have to make mistakes and take notes to learn from them. Practice, Practice, Practice and I am still learning. 😊💜
👍 nice one ...how long can this last ..
Thank you! Depending on your preservative and working station, 6 to 12 months. However, this is only an estimate. Proper lab testing is the only way to know for sure. 😊💜
Okay..thanks
That's my Lonie bug. Miss him full heartedly
💜
Greetings Yaya creation. I don't know how to register on skill share.
Check her description box the link is there.
Hi yes, The link is in the description box and the pinned comment. Please let me know if you need more help. 😊💜
Can you use a hand mixer instead?
I wouldn't recommend it. I would try a hand whisk instead. It will take some time, but it will be worth it in the end. 😊💜
@@YayaDIYCreations Thanks!
I only have 2 ingredients , smh
Hi! I will definitely showcase easier formulations. 😊💜
Thank You!
