    Thanks for this tutorial! You are a great teacher! I greatly appreciated that you didn't fast forward through most of it like so many other people seem to do. Yours allowed me to actually follow along and understand everything! I have a ring constructed like this that broke and have wanted to repair it, you just saved my favorite jewelry gift! 💙

    Beautiful ring! I would like to say you did an excellent job showing this stitch. I love that it stayed in frame the entire time and you explained it very well. Thank you! ❀❀

    I think you did a fantastic job showing the peyote stitch. May I suggest you wax your thread with either thread conditioner or beeswax? It not only helps to straighten thread and helps keep beads together, I'm not saying you still wont get tangles but it's not as bad without waxing threads.
    Thank you for sharing your beading with us!

    A thanks for the tutorial. The only part that was hard for me to see clearly was hiding the threads. I am sure I will figure it out by just doing it. Look forward to trying this out.

      Next Tuesday, I will be releasing tutorial for CRAW bracelet and I think there you will see better how to make knots and hide thread. Because in peyote, beads are so close to each other you cant really see 😅
      Thank you for watching 🙏😊

    You made a very nice video. I like your idea of pinning the start until you can see the pattern emerging. I have had good luck using a thread conditioner or bees wax to avoid tangles.

    If you have trouble getting your thread to straighten out run it through a flat iron on low very lightly a few times, just be careful not to melt it.

    How would I make this using two colors instead of one? Would I need a pattern or simply switch the colors on each row as I stitch? Thank you for your tutorials! I love your work!

    • @KarasBeads
      @KarasBeads  Pƙed 3 lety

      I would use 2 different colours on each row, meaning pick up colour A and then Colour B and then A and switch around next row, first B and then A then B and repeat. That way you will end up with stripes 😊

  • @IriezonaSunshine
    @IriezonaSunshine Pƙed 4 lety

    Hello, why don't you use wax on the thread to keep it straight? I'm just wondering if there's a reason not to use thread conditioner (wax)

    • @KarasBeads
      @KarasBeads  Pƙed 4 lety

      I just don’t like wax. It’s really a matter of choice 😊

    Hi. Loved your video. Just a quick question..how much thread should one take for the 11/0 ring? One metre?

    • @KarasBeads
      @KarasBeads  Pƙed 4 lety +1

      That depends on size of the ring, but a meter sounds about right )
      If you end up running out of thread, here is a quick tutorial on how to add extra czcams.com/video/VLxsaZZ37IQ/video.html

    Looks like 2 pins is a bad idea,1 pin would probably be better.
