FOREIGNER will continue its long-term initiative with the GRAMMY Museum Foundation to invite choirs to open the show with a live a cappella ‘Pitch Perfect’ performance of Classic Rock songs. FOREIGNER will join radio partners across the country to create a contest for local choirs to win donations to their music programs. Lou Gramm was, is, & always will be Foreigner
Kelly is not challenging Lou's legacy. He's just singing the songs so Foreigner can continue as Lou was never the same vocally after his tumor. Mick did what was best for his band. But Lou was the greatest rock vocalist in history in my opinion. Kelly is a great singer and a great guy.
@Captain Can Man Mick should still give Lou that ratio royalty percent for "I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS " the Farewell would end everything in peace. After nearly 40 yrs. Lou would actually get his due on that song. He never, ever received a penny for singing that song, and it was Lou who not only cowrote their only number one song but the vocal take was arranged and completed by Lou and their engineer. Not Mick, who spent most of his time arranging the choir . Right is right.

Kelly may not have written the songs Foreigner sings, but he is now lead singer so quit bitching! Foreigner accepted him as lead singer and is totally awesome in doing what they asked him to do!!

Mr Graham was the lead singer of Foriener when the band first started .

some serious medical issues from what I've heard. IMHO.
Kelly is the best fit and still the strongest singer for Foriener. I'd love to see the band one last time !

@@elainerighi1989Kelly is not good...sorry. He sings some songs ok, but most of them he ruins with his generic nasal voice. Hope he stops doing it soon.
Lou Gramm LEFT Foreigner. Kelly didn't oust him. Why cant people accept this?
Lou had the greatest rock voice of all time in my opinion. But after his tumor in the late 1990's he lost so much vocally. His higher range and even his beautiful, perfect tone was gone. He has worked hard to get back what he can, but he just can't sing those songs anymore the way that they are supposed to be sang. And while I would take Lou in his prime any day of the week over Kelly, Kelly has done a fantastic job of singing those songs and keeping Foreigner active. Mick is the reason Lou is not in Foreigner anymore. Mick is a perfectionist and he had to make a very tough decision to not let his friend Lou sing the songs anymore. The reigns had to be given to someone that can hit those notes on key every night. And Kelly was the man for the job. Getting old sucks, but Lou will never be forgotten and his legacy will never be overshadowed by Kelly or anyone else.
Lou quit in 2003 because Mick became controlling again (the reason Lou left in 1990), and Lou left again because of Micks addiction to 🍸 Alcohol. Lou cowrote many of those songs, not Kelly . Lou was inducted in the Songwriters hall of fame in 2013 with Mick not Kelly. Just saying.

Doesn't this woman know that Kelly Hansen had nothing to do with Foreigner's music??? Kelly wrote nothing, sang nothing on those albums! She keeps saying "your music, your hits" Kelly is a pretender...

Kelly is not forgettable at all. He's got an amazing voice and can sing those Foreigner songs almost as good as Lou did in 1981. Lou can't sing those songs anymore the way they are supposed to be sang and Mick had to replace him. Kelly is a great singer and a good guy.
