Hi Laura. Can you please give an update on your peony tree. I just love those plants. Thanks 😊🏵
Happiness is when Laura Uploaded a new video
I inherited my grandma’s tree peony.. it’s 46ish years old and I treasure it. The blooms are 9-10”. So much reward for minimal effort.
They are show stoppers! I have a small bed if Tree Peonies and everyone loves them
I want every plant you talk about!!!!!! 🌵🌳🍂🌹🌸
That's a beautiful tree peony Laura and the perfect spot to plant it too! Great job!
Beautiful blooming. Makes me imagine a room as the vase and the yard as the bunch of flowers.
I love peonies! I had no idea they would grow in zone 8. Now I am on the hunt!!!💕👏🏼🙀💐
I love watching you, all the passion shows the moment you talk about plants. I learn alot from you and happy to have my tiny small side yard thriving with a few tips and tricks you've shared. Thanx for the videos
I have never seen these blooms before ... they are so so pretty 💖🕊💖
I have 3 and just love them. One of them is 20 years old. Beautiful!
I am so excited, I have ordered me a felco 2 prunner today. happy dance..... thanks Laura. some day we would love to visit your parents garden center. we were in Ontario last August.
I would love to see a update of this! I didn’t see it in the April garden tour
I just discovered your channel and I am impressed! I work at a garden centre, too. And I have gained an immense amount of knowledge since working there. Though, we don't care everything so I like to learn more about the things we're not as familiar with. This video explains everything very well and you are a great speaker!
Can we get an update on how your tree peony is doing?
your such an inspiration. i recently revived my mothers garden because of your videos and now we have blooms everywhere. love from the philippines.
Just gorgeous. I absolutely love peonies.
Hi I am Linda and I live in Australia, Victoria. I just love you and your channel I have been so inspired to get back into my garden have spent a lot and lost a lot but am learning, I love succulents now thanks to you. Can't wait u til your baby arrives xxx
Absolutely beautiful! I love the colour and the huge blooms! Can you make a video about peony shrubs and rose shrubs (planting, care/maintenance and how to winter them over) please?! Thank you!!
I would love to see the flowers on your mom' s tree peony. I'm not a Gardner at all, but I love your videos! 😊🌹🌺🌻🌼🌸🌷🐞
what a beautiful job you have and you are great at it. I love your channel its like a small piece of heaven.
love your channel, I live in Florida can not find most of your plants here , I been at Home Depot, Lowe's and nursery, wish to have a the tree peony is beautiful. you inspired me to garden!
It's beautiful!! Reminds me of my grandmother........I had forgotten them think I need to go get me one lol
hope to see an update in your next garden tour... i dont recall seeing it!
I would love to have this in my garden, but I don't think they are sold here in New Zealand .... I will have to check that out on the internet. We do have the normal peonies, & I planted one in 2011, & was so happy to see that it had its very first bud, & telling myself to be careful as I weeded around it. Well, we have a persistent weed that has a leaf shape very similar to the peony, & as I was still thinking happy thoughts about my very first peony being in bud, I pulled it out ....... yes, I did!!! And not only did I pull it out, but it snapped off at the base as I did so ...... I actually sat holding it, & crying. Since then, I haven't planted another one, but I think I will do so. You have inspired me ..... & hopefully I won't pull this one out.
very pretty. I'd love to see those dinner plate size blooms, i bet its gorgeous.
So pretty! I have three beautiful white peony bushes in my backyard but I have never seen a peony tree. Would love to own one. I live in a zone 6 with tons of deer around and this sounds like it would do great here in my state -- WV. My next trip to our local garden centers, I'll be on the lookout :)
The most beautiful plant ever
Hi Laura! I love this 🌸 I live in South Florida, i believe is zone 10 here. I don’t see them around here but would love to try it out because i think they are just gorgeous! I hope i can see them bloom here! We’ll see!
Hello! Just gorgeous tree! Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful day!
I'm starting my adventure with peonies this year. I'm so excited :)
i so agree ... love them!
A couple of seasons to bloom my eye. I bought three from the nursery with blooms 4 years ago. No blooms since then until this year. They come up fine every year but no blooms til this spring. I'm glad I didn't give up on them. Just know a few years may turn into 4 to 5 but once they bloom it's so worth it.
Thank you for this information. I have a tree peony that is healthy and very large, but 3 years in and no blooms! Maybe this will be the lucky year.
I have planted 20 peony in our yard over the 2 years we have been here. 5 tree peony. Love them
Hi Melinda, how often do your tree peonies bloom?
@@julieathome7793 my tree peony just bloomed yesterday and they will last about two weeks. Last year I had an unusual experience where one of my tree peonies had one bloom a month through February and I am in zone 7
@@MelindasLifeandstyle wow! My mom just got one and it had its one bloom today. They don’t rebloom, right? Just once, then that’s it for the year?
@@julieathome7793 it is just once but like I was saying earlier...one that I have was giving off a bloom a month through winter. It was strange. I just posted my tree on Instagram if you want to see it
Peony are my favorite flowers 😍😍😍
wow so beautiful peony. so that is real
I love Peony Trees and have a gorgeous yellow one in my garden. It was actually the colour I bought it for as I have quite a few different peony bushes in various shades of pink and had wanted a yellow one. The only one I could find was the peony tree. Flowers are huge and the first to bloom in spring.
That was great! Thank you. So informative and relaxing!
Thank u very much this awesome video.
I did not know, Peony , deer resistant.
So I go now and by some beautiful peony.
God Bless u.
Love your channel! So many ideas for gardeners
This is so great. I would love to see more in depth videos like this on individual plants! For example, coleus! I'm so confused about when and where to "pinch back." There's some videos out there on the subject, but they aren't super clear and I typically can't see what the person is doing with their hands. I've read some articles too, but they don't have detailed pictures.
Cute_but_dumb its been a while since you commented this but incase you didnt find out, pinching back is when you cut back a stem of a plant to a leaf node, where the leaf grows out from the stem, the point of this is to make plants busier, because the stem continues to grow from the little bud in between the leaf and the stem
I LOVE Peonies!! 😍
hi Laura I had tree peony I love them I'm have them all over I'm zone 7 I don't have any prolem with them I'm looking forward to see your little one running around while you do your show take care hello to the Mr.
One of my favorite flowers. Was hoping to find a video on tips and tricks for starting out planting flowers from seeds in the garden. Every time I plant anything from poppys to sunflowers they never make it :( I fertilize and make sure to plant as directed on the back but no luck.
Yay! I think that was one of my questions in your last video. Do you grow Peonies? My favs, thank you for the link to tree peonies. I'm in zone 8A and it took me 3 years to get mine to bloom this spring and I hope every summer that it doesn't die in the Vegas heat.
Your right. i had my first peony Flower this yr 2020. Big 9 inches, Lovely. I am buying more. woohoo.
they're beautiful!
Thank you! Gonna try one!
on this day in history & on Wednesday june 23rd 2021 & thank you & i really love it 100%..
..
It looks gorgeous
Oh my gosh what a beautiful flower!!! And the deer won’t eat it!!! Yipppppy now to find some... hmmmm oh I noticed you didn’t put Bio Tone in the soil first? Thank you for sharing about the deer. You both are amazing, thank you, thank you, thank you:)
omg such a great channel I'm so satisfied.😊
Absolute stunner.
Those are beautiful!
Those are beautiful.
Thank you Laura for giving such vital info about peonies. I have a tree peoni l got as a birthday gift 15 years ago, and believe me that is the best gift l have received ever. I can hardly wait for Spring to come each year so that l can see that humongous beautiful fuchsia colour. But the only sad thing about it is the flowers last only two weeks. Is this normal?
I’d love an update on this one!!
my peony is almost dinner plate size I love them
Lots of helpful information. Thanks!
Beautiful
linda demais, nao conhecia esta planta, aqui no Brasil nao temos dela. Magnífica!

Can you do an update on this please? I'm considering planting one and am so curious how it is doing!
Thank you for doing these videos so beautiful and informative, they are addictive!
I live in a zone 10a, bought a bulb of peonies 2 years ago. I planted it in a huge pot and didn't move it from a sunny spot. Each year it gives a big bush of leaves and no buds, and later - mid-summer - obviously dries out. This year I moved it into the shadow with late evening sun only, though still no buds, only whole bunch of beautiful leaves. Is there a way to make it bloom?
nice plant !!! i like it ^^ can you do some update on that plat ? thanks !!!
great flower pretty
YASSS! More peonies!
This might be the answer to my prayers! I've always had peonies (my favorite flower!), but when we moved to our current home, I can't get them to grow. :( Our soil here is very sandy, so I'm not sure if that's the problem or not.
I love peonies!!! They smell so pleasantly wonderful. Only if I live at a house I would have them in my garden. :'(
Sijoon Jang I had them in my wedding. Unfortunately I don't have space in my little garden plot...I suppose I'll have to "gently encourage" my mother to grow one
I want one, I'm in zone 10 I would love a tree Peony for my front yard.
I want one sooooooo bad really. I live in San Angelo tx and we used to have 6 nurseries not including Wal-Mart, Lowe's hardware, home depot, or true value store. Which most of thoes don't really have a selection of plants...Well maybe Lowe's has a bit of selection. Anyways we are down to 3 nurseries which is a huge bumer😢 1 is a small very small nursery the other focuses on succulents which i like also and the last one is more into saleing trees, shrubs, bougainvillea, and roses, they do have 2 tables of the 4in pots of annuals which is petunia, gazanias, and foxtail ferns but none of them carry peony. The first second I saw this one I said I will have one they are beautiful and peony are my favorite shrub plant aaaaand tree.👍😊🖒
I'm curious about the ants as well. I recently read that if you want to bring the blooms indoors for display you should cut the stems when the buds are beginning to show color and are soft as marshmallows. You can then shake off any ants, place the stems in water and you should have blooms in a day or two. I haven't tried it yet and would appreciate your opinion.
Tree peonies don’t have ants. Regular peonies are easy to clean of ants. Dip each one, flower head down, in a pail of slightly soapy water and shake of water. Check under the leaves at the base of the flower in case any ants are hiding there.
Can you do an update ? Wanting to put one in my yard this spring next to all my normal peonies
I have the herbaceous peonies and yes they say that they are deer resistant but I get deer in my yard all the time and they have eaten off the blooms in the past now I have to put up an electric fence lol but it's not set up to shock them and they haven't figgered it out yet... LOL
Such a beautiful plant. So will it bloom into several flowers, or just one "plate" size bloom per year?
We live in southern CA. They sell them as cut flowers but I don’t think I’ve seen them as potted plants 🪴
Tree peony pruning tips please! Mine is at least fifteen years old and some of the woody parts look awful.
The Peony is beautiful, r u going to plant any cannas or bananas in your garden this year 🙂🌱🌴🌿
ANd they smell like heaven, once in full bloom.
How beautiful!!!

Nice video, helped me plant my newly bought tree peony sapling.
My earlier comment is a kind of an observation that this channel has the same name as a Russian TV show (albeit in a different language)
hi laura can you please let me no how to fertilize plant thats in self watering pot. i really need some help .thankyou so much for your beautiful videos.
Haha 😆 No gloves 🧤! Can’t wait to get one of these!
I love peonies. Can you use the flowers from tree peonies for cut flowers? Also, what variety of tree peony is in your video.
love watching your vlogs, so much info . How big is your lot?
I would also like a peony update, also what happened to your bees?
I love you, thank you very much!
Oh I love that!!!! I want to get one probably in a year or so. I have such a black thumb. maybe someone here can help. I got a Parade Roses bouquet for mothers day and am terrified I'm going to kill it. I can't plant it in the ground as we are in the processes of looking for a house to buy. I'm in western oregon (an hour south of Eugene) it says full sun on the tag but what is the difference between full and direct?
Hi Laura, can you do a video about Monkey Puzzle tree? I just planted 5 Puzzle trees from seed and it is very exiting :)
Waoooo thanks for the video it helped me a lot ..i have a question. The button of my plant turns black and dies. What product or tip can I use to make it stop doing that? Thanks.
hermosa flor 😄😃😀😊☺😉👍🍀
This is my most favorite flower. Thanks for giving the tips. Unfortunately I live in zone 9. Just bought peony shrub from Costco recently. Would u share more tips for me how to make it live happily in zone 9? I think I might put it in pot instead of ground 🤔
Peony is a very forgiving plant, it will acclimate later in a few years. Just need constant watering, add a little fertilizer more sun shine.
I wish I could have peonies!!! I live in a zone 9 so idk I might try without too much money invested and see if I can be successful...
I love this plant!!!!
Me too it's so hard to find it where I live. I would have to order online. I tried seeds but it never works out. They go into double dormancy unless you can get really fresh one. We had herbaceous ones but they just fall over all the time and get mildew.
Here in Greece you can order them in the plant centers but they dont have it if you dont ask them to order it for you. And it is real weird because it is a beautiful plant.
that is so big 😍
Asked earlier-non tree peonies- have long established large plants- about 20-30" across in circle that grow into double wire ring supports & the annual problem is flower stalks aren't strong enough to support their double flowers! What will create stronger stems so that cutting for inside becomes the only option? I'd prefer having them outside longer but rainy Spring in PA 2018 made that impossible. Help! I got some sprinkle container of fertilizer, I think 12-4-8 but know little about it & think it likely needs more acid feeding but is that right? We're in the woods except for peony beds-inset with lawn all around, AM sun & dappled in afternoon. Thanks- enjoy your videos a lot.
Hi, I just watched this video because I bought some pepniesvtoday and I was wondering how your tree peony is doing after 4 years... Thanks and regards from Spain
What variety of Tree Peony is this?
Yes, what is the name of this particular plant?
What was the name of that specific one ?. It’s so beautiful I live in Hawaii so we can’t get them like that so I order them bare root and pot them then put them in the ground
Can you do a pruning video on your parents plant ?
Oh it's purrrrdy!!
