Barry is always coming up in our thoughts, and after the events in Greenwood, Indiana the topic of the "food court gun" rang all the more true.

Big bad shoes to fill. RIP Barry. And kudos to all the rest of you for the great work you do. You never know when one of your videos influences just the right person at just the right time, and that person preserves lives, even if only through preparation and the deterrent of a ready posture. Keep up the good work!
Yes, thank you for the Barry clip! I miss him.
I was one of those ppl. I was a brand new hunter with a Marlin 22 from when I was a kid. And I bought a 3030win because that's what I got my first deer on with my step dad when I was 14. I bought an 870 express 12 gauge and on a whym stopped to get ammo one day and bought an old $89.99 mosin and thought thats all I could ever need or want. Then I found Barry(and Eric) and Hickock45 and flash forward 15 years and about 40k later I'm a huge firearm enthusiast.. those two are the catalyst that set off my favorite past time and also my greatest hole in the wallet lol.. I'm getting close to triple digits in firearms now (majority historical pieces and classic firearms that need refinishing or brought back to function) what a great and yet expensive hobby..
Also many modern firearms now.. in the last two years under Biden. I've really come to understand the reasoning for the second amendment and appreciate the 2a even more.. so now I think a 3d printer is in my future and I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the left wing anti gunner freak out and buy a pistol for protection after realizing what's happening.. all of them just kept saying if anything ever happens I'll just come to your house.. and I'd laugh and say it's not my job to protect you or your family. Protect your own, and then they would spout off with some anti gun redderict but then a couple months later be asking what gun they should buy lol. I enjoy taking new gun owners out and teaching. But most of all I enjoy explaining gun laws to former democrats.. the look of confusion and not understanding makes me wanna scream.. you've voted on these laws for years without the understanding and now have the audacity to say okay well why can't I own this I wanna protect my family.. well lance, it's because you and your wife kale sunshine rose decided to vote this way without doing the slightest amount of research.. go ahead and throw that stock on that 10.5 inch upper ar.. 😂 what goes around comes around buddy
Did he also shoot for taufledermouse?
Someone came up to me not long ago at Kentucky Gun Company and said "Omg it's Barry"!! I knew exactly who they meant. They explained how I resembled him with my beard being almost identical. I told the guy that I'm 57 years old and have a wealth of gun knowledge passed to me by great men. But I seriously doubt I'll ever have Barry's wisdom. Thanks for all you do for us Eric.
RIP BARRY 1955-2014
Has it really been 8 years since Barry passed?! Where has the time gone
@@coryrohrbaugh1208 Yes
I Miss Him wished he was still here
@@HCScomix me too bro
Of course, Barry was right. Too bad he isn`t around anymore. I miss him. We love you Barry❤
Bro I cried a bit hearing the advice.
We all miss him.
I have been watching akot of their early gun grips videos lately he's a great guy to watch
i was going to say that
WE miss him, not you only but WE all do miss him
I have been watching this channel since I was a teenager, I'm almost 30. Barry is missed by all, RIP.
Same
@Eric s wild how it's little tricks like that..
Same
Almost 31 been watching this channel 10 years
I loved Barry, he was like an awesome uncle!
Even with Barry gone he is still schooling us like the legend he was.
We all miss Barry. A man of wisdom and knowledge even after he's gone
I'd would like to see a picture of his gravestone.
RIP Barry, you're missed. Thanks for all the good years.
Iv got a tear in my eye seeing Barry share his wisdom with us. One of the best things about the digital era is being able to learn from those even after they’ve moved on. Thank you for sharing.
Barry just unironically pulling out and sticking in a high-cap Glock mag for a concealed situation is why we all love him and miss him
I'm glad you did this. I miss Barry very much. My favorite Barry quote: "They made this gun when men were men and women were too".
😂😂
I believe that was the mosin torture test video
@@brandonchapman2496 Pt 2, yes
Man I do miss my uncle Barry, his sister my mother just passed a couple months ago not a day goes by that I don’t miss them both !! I can remember visiting my mom and we would be at my granny bs and uncle Barry would come over and would teach me about guns even took me to Moss pawn a couple of times! RIP uncle Barry you and mom are forever missed!
You are truly blessed to have known, let alone be related to someone as knowledgeable and based as Barry. I honest to God think about him every week, and i never met the man. Im sure like all of us, he wasnt perfect. But he repsresented the spirit and people that built America and made it great...sadly now men like him are in the way of the nightmare their building. Relics of a fallen empire.
Your uncle is a legend and your mother is an Angel
Hope all is well man
I remember watching you and Barry back in highschool. RIP Barry, you gave younger me a lot of knowledge and laughs.
RIP, Barry. You are missed, but not forgotten. Thank-you, Eric!
RIP Barry. Reminds me of simpler times
RIP Barry, I'll never forget that man, went all through highschool watching gun gripes and Berry taught me a lot of very valuable knowledge, I still got a lot to learn but hopefully when I'm old I'll be as knowledgable as him.
I met Barry back in 2013 on one of my first trips over the pond. He gave me a tour and we chatted for ages.
I shall never forget the photo of Barry and me holding mean-looking guns.
We don't have guns here in the UK, except for the bad types and our police firearm support guys.
So sad to hear of his passing shortly after :-(
Dude we've got plenty of legal firearms here. please stop this myth of "we don't have guns". Maybe not to the extent of some other countries, but with around 500,000 firearms and shotgun certificates issued at the moment i believe. we do have guns!!
@@nathanboulton2066 I did a quick lazy man search to see and found that the UK has 4.6 privately owned firearms per 100 citizens; the numbers for US is 120/100, or 1.2 per citizen. Perhaps Bob is making a generalization to get to a point. One chilling video on YT is made by a Brit warning US citizens to never comply with gun confiscation. It's heartbreaking.
@@nathanboulton2066 That's still like saying you have food and clean water in Africa. Obviously nowhere near as much or in the kind of abundance you'd want. We've got more guns than ppl here ffs.
The fact he specifically mentioned a 10 shot Glock is absolutely legendary.
Barry was the whole reason I followed this channel so many years ago. We love you Barry 🥲
That’s awesome. Even after death, it’s cool to see Barry still schoolin’ us. RIP Barry.
We all miss Barry. You guys made a great team. Love how he was a no nonsense give it to u straight guy. Tks for re- sharing. May he RIP
Barry was a legend. He's always right in my book
Man, this makes me realize I've been watching you guys for over 10 years, since before I was 16. I'm 26 today. Thank you for all the memories Eric. RIP Barry!
I remember on the eve of my 18th birthday. My cousin had an 1891 mosin I was thinking about buying and one of the first videos I found researching was Eric and Barry dragging a mosin through a field with a pickup truck.
It was such a shock losing Barry. I’ve thought about food court attacks many times over the years and always look for what will stop incoming bullets. Eric, we would love to see an interview with Eli. I haven’t seen anyone that has talked to him.
As a 53 year old man, it surely as been a joy seeing you and Chad .grow into fine men!
Long live berry.
When Barry pulled out the stick mag, that was a golden moment. He's ready to party. I'd take him as a wingman ANY day. Rest in Peace & Power.
It's called an "extend-o" 😂
@@mattf2545 "extendo in the glock 40" 🤣
“Rest in power”
I will never understand this stupid phrase.
@@congresssux9766 theres always that one person. Some people only use the comments section to say something negative... you could've just not said anything. There's other people who dropped that line. Tell them all you dont understand it too, don't limit it to just me.
@@2aalltheway614 you can just admit that you don't understand it either but thought it sounded cool...or that for some reason you though Barry was a black lgbtqa.
I miss Barry. I carry a G26 and a spare 32 round mag because of this old video. I’m not even joking. Gun trends come and go and I’ve kept my G26 for 14 years and only now am thinking of upgrading just because I love red dots for those 40 yard shots.
Rest In Peace Barry. Much love braddah
Man, I miss the good old moss pawn days! I learnt my first pieces of gun information from you, Barry and Chad. Of course Barry was right! Makes me smile to see you keeping his memory alive!
God I miss Barry! He was such a great and informative dude
Still remember the zombie mall gun and the cut shells videos
Aw, I miss Barry too. I have been subscribed since at least a couple/few years before he passed away. He was a treasure, and we'll always remember him. Rest in Peace Barry. ❤
Barry was such a great person to watch and listen to. I remember when I first started getting into guns this channel was my go to when it came to firearms facts and tips. Without Barry I would’ve never known about cut shells for shotguns or putting the Mosin through it’s torture tests. I miss him and keep up the good work on the channel guys thanks!!!!
Barry is still missed. I started watching this channel roughly 1 year prior to this video. I think I've been watching since episode #1.
I remember when Barry passed. The first video I saw with him was the cut shotgun shell episode. He always seemed very kind.
I miss Barry too I've actually recently been going back and watching the videos with him in it. I know I've seen them before but his knowledge keeps me on my edge
I miss Barry. I joined your channel when you had about 2k subs. Crazy to see how it’s grown and the sadness of not seeing Barry nomore. I hope he continues to rest easy.
I miss Barry. Barry was a wise man that knew his guns. I'm sure he would be proud of what you've done to keep this channel growing Eric.
RIP Barry. He was a wise man, and I'm glad this old video exists to help educate 10 years later.
God bless I miss Barry y'all were a dynamic duo that got me into the gun scene as much as I am now. Almost brings a tear to the eye to see how long its been.
I miss Barry! I started watching when Barry was on the channel. My personal favorite Barry episode was when he explained his accidental discharges!
I was a Freshman in High School when I started watching you and Barry. Rest in Power, your words of wisdom will always live on.
Americas favorite eccentric uncle. Good way to honor his memory.
Rest Easy to the late great Ernest “Barry Elliot” I miss him so. I’ve been a subscriber to your channel since the very beginning, Eric. Love the channel, and love what you do for our 2nd amendment rights. God bless 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Barry is very much missed. I remember him responding to a comment I made, and in true Barry spirit, we went from serious to making one another laugh. I still laught about the video he did on about a customer who called a mag, a "clip". Love y'all at Moss and thanks for all you do. ❤
Barry was a marvel of knowledge. He is missed every day.
RIP Barry. Legends never die! You should definitely make more Barry memory videos
Thanks for the flashback. We miss Barry as well and it was nice to see and hear his words as relevant as they were then applied today. Keep up the great work Eric.
Barry was a great guy. As long as we keep him in our hearts and minds remembering him fondly, he will never truly be gone.
Barry is exactly the kind of guy you want to be your kids scout leader, and also the kind of guy that the scouts would never have around anymore Because he valued truth over feelings
I started watching this channel after Barry had passed. I've had to go back and watch older videos to understand. It's definitely worth it.
I’ve been watching this channel since the Barry days, was good to see a video with him again. Should do this more often.
Thanks....and we miss Barry as well. We trust he is resting in peace.
I miss the day of the dead skits Barry would do, him playing dr frankenstein was what drew me to the channel when you guys first started! R.I.P Barry you were a wealth of knowledge and you are forever one of my heroes!
God I still rewatch old gun gripes just to hear ol Barry’s voice. Rest In Peace man.
Thanks for sharing that throwback! I worked with Barry in the late 80’s and didn’t even realize how much he was into guns, I guess because I had mostly other interest in my younger years. Barry was a character and a very likable one at that. I first realized he was a celebrity from watching a show hosted by Uncle Ted called Gun Country, I believe. I then did a little digging and discovered your channel plus a whole new world of 2A content because I knew very little of CZcams at the time.
Barry, Patron Saint of Guns.
He has one miraculous act: He called it when it came to the Food Court and the gun to use.
I remember that video! I watched it in 2012. Classic IV8888.
RIP Barry! Thanks for all you two have done for this community.
You were one of my very first gun channels I subscribed to. Still my favorite, we all miss Barry.
Barry is a National Treasure. Eric, you were so lucky to be able to spend time with him. What a privilege!
Because of my father's rather humble beginnings, I knew EXACTLY what you meant, when talking about "Prosperity" and "Posterity." They definitely sound a lot alike. Thanks for taking the time so we could see Barry again.
Rest in peace Barry, your old videos are what got me into firearms in the first place!
Man I remember watching your videos with Barry when I was just getting into high school, I was dreaming about my first rifle then. I’m about to be 24 come August, but from a young shooter then till now thank you for helping me learn to appreciate my right to own these awesome tools. Miss you Barry, I’m grateful to you.
I miss seeing Barry. He was an awesome character. Thank you for keeping the channel up and interesting.
I miss Barry. When I saw his majestic beard, and his voice, I knew everything will be OK.
Great way to remember Barry! His wisdom is truly missed!
This kind of thing is why I always appreciate someone that's willing to share their knowledge and experience to help someone they don't even know.
We all miss Berry!! He was so great for the 2A community! Loved watching you and him gripe about stuff on the channel!! Hahah
Thank you for posting. Barry was an awesome patriot as you are.
Bless him, I literally learned English and almost all I know about guns from gun gripes and you guys.
I will come to visit when I have a chance
Matteo
Greetings from Italy
Rest in peace
Barry was awesome. Thanks for sharing! The work you do on your channel is very good and helpful.
Barry the legend 😀 Sure do miss his sage advice on these videos. R.I.P Barry
Barry's "I told you so" moment!
My wife and I eat in that food court when we are in Greenwood. I have always ignored the mall's stupid "No Weapons" policy. It is only against Mall policy! Consider me unarmed until a situation arises... then I'm not!
The clowns that say he broke the law don't seem to understand Indiana doesn't have gun free zones. A company's signs have no legal weight.
I was thinking of Barry yesterday. So great to have this pop up in my feed. I learned a lot from him - especially cut shells!
Also too, I've been watching you from the start and I want too say thank you Eric. I learned alot from both you a Barry, listening to him opened up our minds to alot of things. I hope too see you continue for another 10 years, we'll still be here to support you.
Barry was just so great to listen to, really loved his insights. Barry = legend status!
Thanks for this. Been a fan of your videos for a while and I appreciate the nod to Barry. May he RIP and hope his family is well.
“ A high point on your hip is better than a Glock on layaway” Barry. What a great quote !
Man, I really miss Barry! He played such a crucial role in your videos early on. In fact, he was the reason I found your channel. RIP Barry!!!
Barry is awesome. I like the one y’all did on negligent discharges… the firearm kind lol. Rest In Peace Barry 🙏🏼
I sure do miss Barry and his gun knowledge. May he rest in peace.
Eric, thanks for your years and years of videos. We all appreciate you, Chad, Berry, and everyone who’s kept you going all these years.
Thank you for this, I needed the smile. Reminds me of watching those old videos, a simpler time.
RIP Barry 😞
rip barry! I have rewatched all the gun gripes this year and early ones with barry are truly timeless as this video points out
Those videos made such an impact on me as a teen, I used to love watching them and so did my late grandfather. I miss him and Barry both
The first video of yours that I ever saw, was Barry talking about cut shells. That was before I subscribed to IV8888. I love the straightforwardness and no nonsense videos you do.
RIP Barry, miss you brother.
Barry had knowledge that still inspires today, and will for years to come !!
I'm from the UK, no guns! I love watching Barry and Eric. I've learned a lot from videos, great stuff...
Barry! Gone, but not forgotten! Always in our hearts and on our minds!
I’ve always feared the food court since I was about 15 for the simple fact that you’re in a very vulnerable position, about 6 months ago I went to a restaurant with family and the hostess tried to sit us with my back against the entrance, I said I’m not doing that I need to be in a better position to see any stupid wacko coming in, she looked at me and said nothing will happen and I said sure lady. Situation awareness is key people.
You are only paranoid and crazy until something bad happens then you are the only one that can help the situation and no longer crazy.
Barry was right more than he was wrong and he is truly missed. Thank you for keeping his wisdom alive Eric!
Barry had a wealth of knowledge, only disagreed, on one thing, carrying one-up. RIP Barry, someone listened to you guys and saved a lot of lives.
Thank You for the refresh
I thought about Barry the moment I heard about it! Sure miss him.
The Man, the Myth, the Legend. We miss ya, Barry.
I went to Moss a couple of times back then as I was passing through the area. Met Barry once. He took a photo with me and then showed me around the back and upstairs, telling me stories and showing me the props from old videos--like some crazy cobbled together firearms, the melted one, the white lab coats! He immediately embraced me as a close friend would. It was remarkable. This is the way we should live & treat one another. He was such a blessing & even though I didn't get to know him well, I sure do still miss him! 😊🙏❤
Gun grips was how i found this channel long time ago. Always love his no-nonsense talk
Rest In Peace Barry. Thank you both! You got me into firearms.
Damn!!! Barry called it!
