Exactly. None of Dr Raj s movies were flop. Most of them were blockbusters and some were hits. Can't believe Gaurish used the word 'flops'. Also Lankesh was constantly criticizing Dr Raj.

What he said was true and I have seen it myself many times with houseful board in front of half full theater. This ploy was used by producers of most of the top heroes. Half of Annavara movies failed during 80s and was not a hit to the level it was supposed to be. They did recovered their investment but didn’t make money like his regular blockbusters.

We have seen Dr.Raj movies since 1970 and we know better than you, how Dr.Raj Kumar movies were performing and there was no need to put house full board when it was half filled. Whatever you are saying, sometimes half filled theatres tickets were being sold as black tickets. And this was common those days with all popular actor movies.

He used to walk in front of our rented house in Hosakerehalli almost every morning around 6:30 am and never had the courage to start a conversation at that age. He created terror in the minds of corrupt and casteist Govt officers, MLAs, Ministers and even CMs
Unfortunately his daughter Gauri Lankesh was not upto the mark. She was giving undue importance to small events and joined hands with kerala communists. Instead of supporting law abiding muslims, she was encouraging fundamentalist Muslims.
