    Strawberry Oat Crumble Recipe:
a few cups of fresh or frozen strawberries, enough to fill a baking dish
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 cup rolled oats
    about 1 cup of flour
    Preheat oven to 350F degrees
Butter a glass baking dish and add in enough sliced to fruit to at least half fill the dish. Mix the fruit with 1/4 cup of flour or cornstarch to make a thick syrup when baked.
In a bowl, melt the remaining 1/2 cup of butter. Stir in sugar, oats, and flour until dry and crumbly. Adjust as needed
Cover the berries with the crumble topping and bake at 350F for about 45 minutes or until the fruit is thick and bubbly and the topping is golden and fragrant.
    Enjoy!

Oh so many chamomile plants and flowers. I only have a small patch. Great strawberries! My are taken by chipmunks, squirrels & birds. Lol. Take care.

That's a shame! I've lost entire harvests to the critters before too haha! I covered my strawberries this year with some wire fencing, and I think that's the only reason they weren't taken by all the birds and squirrels.

@veralamoss Good job you. I just keep in pots so I can put a cloche over them. I may try your idea next year in a raised bed. Thanks
