Replacement of the left side (driver side) mirror on my 2011 Range Rover Sport L320

When you lock the car, both mirrors fold in. This function cannot be disabled in the 2011 Range Rover Sport. The gear in the left side mirror is worn out, so it could not fold in completely. You can buy a gear repair kit, but the inside of the old mirror was so corroded that we couldn't disassemble it without damaging it. Therefore, I bought a used, salvaged mirror on eBay. In this video, we will show you how to install the mirror. The most difficult part is removing the interior door panel, which also holds the tiny speaker, without breaking it. The workshop manual provides very limited information on this. However, we will show you the trick.
