While I don't think it's likely to happen, with how much people are rushing to find an alternative to concrete, I still believe it is a possibility, if a low one.

The Future will be Glass. Well, it was not that long ago we only had square cars, now you can't find one, and it looks like houses are going the same way. That's a lot of work just to submit a design, you have to do everything you would before building, and spend 100's of thousands of $ just to draw up a proper blueprint. I would think that with such large projects there are facets of all of them that are groundbreaking and a unique solutions to a problem. Investing in R&D for the future.
