If your doubt is in relation to the last audition, a comment from Daniel Martine:
"I first saw this whole audition that begins at 15:30 a month ago, in full on a Voice Ukraine CZcams page. Most of the responses were obviously In Ukrainian and Russian, which I did not understand. I asked questions in English. Here's what I was told. I was already familiar with the song since I listen to much World Beat music. First, this is an old Ukrainian folk song entitled, "The Duckling Swims." Apparently, for generations of Ukriainians, it has been a song warning of the risks of warfare. It was used as the music for the ceremonial parading through the streets of Kiev, Ukraine, two years ago for the "the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes". It sadly remembered the 100 Ukrainian activists/protesters killed that year in the Ukraine at a protest. The issues were that the Russians transgressed the borders of the Ukraine where there has long been disputed border claims by both countries.
czcams.com/video/7MHl6QvCjAA/video.html -This is the version they used during the remembrances.
Fast forward to what you watched here. Tina Karol, the blonde judge who stood first, stood to honor Inna's lovely version of "The Duckling Swims" in remembrance of the Maidan 100. The other judges followed suit when they realized why she had stood. As did the audience. A very moving moment. It was actually at the end of the audition process. She pressed her buzzer at the end of the song because she still needed one more singer for her team. If you have seen the full audition she speaks lovely words of praise and thankfulness to Inna for giving them that beautiful moment. The other judges offer words of praise also. The other judges had full teams so they couldn't choose Inna. But they hit their buzzers in a show of solidarity and respect for Inna's audition. And there you have it."
      I hope I have helped you :D

When I heard this song, it moved me from the start, with it's haunting nature and the womans beautiful sound. Until tonight I did not know the story of the Heavenly hundred, where more than 130 people died in protest. I had to wiki it and have read several different accountings of it. When the Judge stands up and almost in time everyone else does as well, I realized this was something very dear to the Hearts of the people of Ukraine. And without even knowing what it was about, it moved me near to tears. Wonderful artist, and sung with such love and passion. WOW!

i ran across her performance in another "best of" video a few weeks ago, like you i didn't know the significance of the song, but i was captivated by her skill with the traditional stringed instrument (i don't know what its called), her stunning voice and the sheer raw emotion in the room. what i wish i knew was what the blonde coach (i do not know her name) said to her after the song was through. clearly , the song had a huge impact with both the coaches and the audience. for background google "euromaiden" its worth a few minutes to get some context of what was happening when she took the stage.

It is the story of the Heavenly hundred, where more than 130 people died in protest in the Ukraine... It could easily stand in for many of the tragedies around the world where people died fighting for freedom. When the judges stand in support it just sent chills right through me... The girl performing the song of "The Heavenly Hundred", last song, is heart-wrenching, no matter what language you speak. I never actually understood the meaning of this "folk-song", if I may call it that. I always thought the song was about the "unofficial war" with Russia, in achieving Independence. It turns out the song was about the 103 civilians and police killed during the Ukrainian Revolution. I don't know much about the history behind this event, except that he the Ukraine gained it's independence from the old "Soviet Union" in 1991, and this actual event occurred in 2014 during riots in Kiev. Perhaps someone who knows the history behind this tragic event, can tell us more about it.
Never the less, I think this young lady (last song) captures the events of this tragic day with such deep emotion, that even someone like me, who does understand the language, could understand through shear feeling, the pain it has left on a proud nation, recently (1991) turned to modern day democracy.

It is so sad that the thing that seems to bring us together as human beings, with no concerns like race or creed, is grief. If only we could pay more attention to what we have in common, family, friends and love, the world would have less grief to share. I must say, this compilation is outstanding, but I have two favorites:Travis Cornier and Inna Ishchenko. The first, because he choose a song that is very difficult to sing it, the vocalist need a high tone, much like Steven Tyler in order to reach that falsetto at the almost end of the song. And I noticed that he is very emotional, almost crying. Maybe it's because the coaches turned or because it is "felling" the song in his way, he really did a superb performance of that song.
About Inna, like Paul Dickey said, its a "piece of music that will tear your heart apart". An unofficial anthem for a obscure period in the Ukraine, where people tired of corruption and political misdirections since the end of the Soviet Union, want it a changed and be part of something greater. Those protests were atrocious, very violent in nature, according to various sources that I read on Internet. And knowing that, I think Inna wanted to pay respect for those who lost their lives in the eromaidan protests. And the most beautiful thing is everybody, including audience, stood up, remebering the people that fought to get a better Ukraine.
I have to thanks to the uploader for this video. I must say that I didn't know about the Euromaidan Protest. I like world history, and I will investigate everything from that period, which is very recent by the way, only two years ago, for my personal curiosity.
