Somehow i missed this months back. This had me in very awkward tears so many times. Im going through it. Pushing my art away because I need a "real job" or "if I get my other ideas going, then I wont feel guilty painting", "im spending time and money pretending to be something I am not", "I want it so bad that I am scared to do it because who am I kidding?". And now I have everyone around me asking what the hell Im doing NOT painting??? I have hit a wall and just typing this has me crying in my studio, looking at dry paints and empty water cups and stacks of art. Thank you Jillian.

You always give me a little “mental” boost when I need it! When I was learning to paint with acrylics, I had a wonderful, college educated art teacher. One of the first things she said to me was, “you don’t need to go to school to learn how to paint (or be an “artist”).” I learned so many wonderful things from her, and always wished she was more into watercolor. However, I’ve found you! I absolutely love Brush Movement, and I’ve been feeling a little frustrated because I’m very slow. I don’t always have the time I would like to spend on painting, but I try to do something every day, even if it’s just watching one of the videos in the course, or here on CZcams. ❤
I honestly feel we are in the space where everything IS fast that's why we feel like we are moving slow but I think it's the other way. The fast pace is not realistic and we are going at the pace we are meant to 😀 thank u for sharing ur insights. Also made me reflect Anne!
