the pins connected on PIN 10 and PIN 14 motors are controller from the input step signals, as ClockWise and anti clockwise but i did not understand where is the power supply for the motor for example , PIN 10 is 1 the motor turns ClockWise direction to the ground but where is the 12V power supply the motor to rotate ? as it is directed the ground after Bit 1 received
Pin no 8 is for power supply
Sir is there any difference between 0 voltage and ground.

I connected L293d to 8051,
At the output side I'm getting 12v properly but my motor is not running. I checked the current as well which is around 120mA. What is the issue?
You need to chek the connections
L293d ic is having 3 vcc and 4 grounds
@@TEKNOISTIX Sir I checked everything is correct from connection point of view.
I connected potentiometer to 9v battery and rotated it till 8.20v motor was off and after that it started rotating I think may be to operate motor it requires 9v
But sir after that I connected 3.7v/1000mAh battery still motor was able to rotate maybe this time current is more I'm not sure what is happening
L293d requires additional signnal to run the motor
From where you are giving the signal?

To input pins of l293 that is pin 2 and 7 and I checked output in between pin 3 and 6, on multimeter output is 8v still motor don't works😢
Sir I also connected led across pin 3 and pin 6 and it was glowing.
