They got the second most popular votes, not a bad result. The judges are always full of shit so it’s no wonder something actually interesting and original didn’t get their attention.
Second of the televote is always a victory, even if they deserved the win, which they did.
Top 5 isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination. The winners were good as well, so I'm not sad they didn't win despite being my favourite.
It would be something different if they were in the lower half or something. It is not an easy song to fully appreciate, so it is impressive that it did as well as they did.
I was really surprised at the juries for only ranking Ukraine at 9th. But then if there's one thing I know about Eurovision, you gotta expect everything.
They did really well though. Its not only about winning. It is about participating and having fun
Nothing to say about SHUM - everything said about that amazing song. VESELO - that songs goes deep into the ear (earworm) - that song has so much power .....I can feel the music in my blood. I need Go_A for my life.

There's a Brazilian TV series called Desalma that is based on the influence of Ukrainian immigrants in some small towns in southern Brazil. The whole 1st season revolves around the Kupala festival and the disappearance of a teenage girl. The 2nd season was just confirmed, I REALLY HOPE they bring Go_A to the soundtrack, or to the actual screen. It would be a dream coming true!

Very good and cool series. I watched Desalma here in Ukraine last year. They transferred a mystery of Ukrainian witches very well. I'm happy that 2nd season will be shown soon🤗

@@ilu8481 myslím, že ak by boli pozvaní na nejaký letný festival,tak by to bolo celkom schodné riešenie. Na SK festoch sa občas mihnú mne úplne neznáme alternatívne kapely. Samozrejme, vystúpenie v rámci ich samostatnej koncertnej šnúry by bolo o niečom inom. Ale ja nie som promotér ani nič podobné, takže možno si to celé predstavujem ako Hurvínek válku...
