    I have two jeeps with 3in1 fpv camera at 200awm power. Placing the camera right at the window this little cars feels like driving the real thing and the image very clear and not shaky because the the shocks. When you try fpv with this little rcs you never want to play without a goggles anymore. Try it!

      @@RCReviewChannel You Are Welcome! For those that want to try, here is what I used and how to mod FPV:
      What you need for the Crawler Great FPV setup with clear image:
      1. $16.99 Wolfwhoop WT02 600TVL Ultra Micro AIO Camera and 200mW
      2. $80 Eachine EV800D 5.8G 40CH Diversity FPV Goggles (If your vision sucks, you can buy spacers for Nearsighted vision).
      3. $2 DC 4.5-24V 12V 24V Step Down to 5V Buck Converter
      4. $8 Tattu 7.4volts 800mAh lipo battery
      5. $1.49 AMASS XT30U Anti-slip Power Connector Plug Male and Female One Pair Black
      Step 1: One the Crawler, Cut OFF the Plug of the cable that the battery goes to. There is where you are going to replace with the Female XT30 plug.
      Step 2: When soldering the Female XT30 plug, make sure you have two extra cables (One Positive RED and One Negative Black) coming out of the female plug so it goes to the Step Down Converter. So, you can power the VTX camera from the battery. Got it?
      Step 3: I am assuming you have some basics of soldering and heat shrinks tubes to protect the negative an positive cable. Change the battery plug to the XT30 male plug. Always do the negative first whe soldering. I recommend silicon cable with 20AWG cable that goes from the Female XT30 to the Down Converter and from the Down Converter to the VTX.
      Step 4: After you have replace the Plugs, you need to change the power that is coming out of the DownCoverter to 5 volts by turning the little nub on the Buck Converter. Use a Power Meter for that. Make sure that the power that goes to the camera is vtx is 5 volts. The 7.4 volts goes to the crawler.
      Step 5: After you test that the crawler has power and the vtx/camera. Place the VTX right in the hood touching the window. So when you look in the googles (EV800D) You will see on the google like what you see on a real car. Placing the VTX on the right location is important to give the real feeling of driving a real car. I use PlasticWeld Epoxy Putty to hold the camera in place. Make sure when you are placing the camera on the car with Epoxy, power the camera and make any adjustment so the view on the google is right. Then power OFF and wait few hours before enjoying driving this amazing little crawler.

I have the enduro 24 on the way even though I know it’s a rebranded RGT I had to get it to review. It's sad to see Element simply placating the market, instead of actually progressing their lineup, and instead of actually giving us more options.
      IMO the Enduro 24 is not a new option.
      I wouldnt buy it, and probably the best reason, is to not reward knockoff cloning behavior.

  • @ryano8613
    @ryano8613 Před 3 lety

    I wish I wasn't the only person who knew that the stock motors in these have those tiny fingers to Armature whereas the Long Can 130's (Barrage motors) have real Brushes and Springs to Armature. They last 20 times longer than the crap stock motors. Much better speed control once fully broken in due to the electronic contact brushes make vs. fingers. The break-in is very very important for full performance from the Barrage motors also.

    • @ryano8613
      @ryano8613 Před 3 lety

      BTW..... Break-in on a brushed motor simply means the curvature of the Armature matches that of the Brushes. When new the brushes are square and lay flat on the Armature. Over time they wear in. You can break in a motor by connecting leads to power it on and submerged in a cup of water, let it run for about 5 minutes. Apply powder graphite lube to shaft bushings when done and dry. Install.

    • @MrsRabbit8
      @MrsRabbit8 Před 4 lety +3

      The Enduro 24 is essentially a recycled rgt or barrage.
      Having experience with both, and seeing very little changes made, i can say almost 100%... NO.
      It will not perform better, and even if you mod it and upgrade it, there are some features that are not ever going to be better, unless replaced...
      Eg. The ridiculously large pumpkins.
      As one example given.
      If you're on the fence, you can ask people on any forum, they will tell you the same thing.
      No need to wait for the review.
      Encourage progress on the micro market by not supporting silly clone/knockoffs.

      @@MrsRabbit8 Agreed, I'm a bit of an old school associated fanboy, and have 4 enduros. But the second I saw the enduro24 was a rebadged rgt v2, I just bought one with the defender body from them (RGT) instead. It's IMO a better looking body anyway. I think they focused too hard on trying to beat the SCX24s price point by 10-20$ as opposed to delivering a as good or better product like they did with the Enduro chassis concept for the same price.

    My scx24 upgrades are 2 x 6 g fishing weights glued at the front axle (one per each side) and one at the back axle in the middle. Then I also changed the tires (ones that you recommended earlier) but those are not that soft than what represented here. I even made v-shaped cuts to the foam to make them softer. I was also able to move the front bumper inwards one step. Or was it rear, hmm :) Then I have tried to fill the original shocks with green slime but that does not last long. Have to add more after few rides. Are those shocks represented here any better? On the other side, I haven't had any problems with the stock servo. Original motor had to be replaced once when it blow out after driving 10-15 minutes in very warm (+30 celcius) day.

    i don't want to tell you how to produce your videos, but the ocean sounds and the hum of the Crawlers would be so much nicer than that crappy open domain music

      I want to hear how they are performing, Tires slipping, grabbing, bouncing, motors and transmissions loading and unloading as they do their thing !

    Don't buy it. Electronics are garbage. Won't be repairing mine, it's now a shelf queen.

      Sure you can. But buy a better crawler from the get go.

      The 1/24th scale is junk my man. Sure it's cool in the house. I've had two batteries the esc and a motor fail in three runs. You do you, but I'm gonna recommend folks don't buy these micro junk products.

      I refuse to put any more money into the micro crawlers.
