This cafe is at Bishan stadium. Didn’t know about the high ratings but I agree with y’all that the food is ok la. Not memorable but I’d su still entertain the thought of dining there if I am in the area.
I went to a steamboat restaurant . The staff ask us to leave a review of 5star and get a free premium snow pork . I think this is the same thing how they get the review so high to gain more customers to come over . I just sharing my experience anyway . No offend 😊
Yes agree! I once bought a rebonding voucher on fave. The hair stylist gave all sorts of excuses to say my hair is not suitable, too dry, top-up for better treatment, etc. I was damn pissed and said just do it, if my hair is spoilt, that's my problem. Before I leave the shop, they made me give a 5-star review!! And got a travel-size shampoo and conditioner. Come on, who wants your free gift; but it's like they wouldn't let me leave if I don't give a 5-star review. So on buyers' POV, they be like wah this salon not bad, got lots of 5-star review, but it's not even based on honesty.
I will always tell them to keep their freebies. I can pay for what I actually want
Came across this cafe before as i live quite near it. Staff service 10/10 , food was edible probs 6-7/10. Didnt expect it to be the best cafe with a 4.9/5 rating lol 😂

I went here b4. Chilled ambience, average to slightly above average food (depends on what you order) but best of all, the staff & owner were damn nice & friendly. I go to at least 1 to 2 different cafes each wk in SG- ALOT of the cafes here are so impersonal.

When the staff mentioned that they try asked the customers to write the review , I be like wow .. the customers really were so kind 🤣🤣 to them . Never been before , and I felt that the food really look like so - so . With close to 10k reviews I guess ... sometimes you can never trust with what you seen online unless you been there .
$57 is really pricey for just two meals and a seemingly unimpressive desserts.
The drinks look more like the dessert lol.

It feels not worth 4.9. But then I went to several eating places with 4.5 and above stars but less than 100 reviews and feels the food is much better than average in terms of quality, execution of the flavor, layers of spices , texture, service. But then it's on the pricier side so maybe why less reviews. But definitely worth the money. Thank you for reviewing so I don't have to travel to try that place and can try other places instead! 😊 Stay healthy!!

Been here before, I didn't leave a review. But it was so-so though.... But I got to agree that the staff were friendly.
Oh and to add on, they do ask everyone to give review. That's what I didn't like too. It's like aren't people suppose to give reviews as and when they like?
the reason why this cafe has so many reviews is because the staff will come up to every table and ask customers to give a review. went there once and food wasn’t even worth the price . tomyum pasta tasted like tomato pasta , wings overly salty .

Went to the cafe 1 month ago, unfortunately they seemed to have forgotten 1 of our mains and we waited for about an hour. That aside, most of the food was average (e.g. the truffle fries, aglio olio etc). Only a certain chicken chop was quite outstanding.
Only reason for the extremely high rating is due to the subtle pressure of having to give a rating infront of the staff. This is one of the only places I've been where the staff requests you to leave a review at the counter infront of them before leaving.

alot of the food is ok but the aglio olio is one of the better tasting ones and this is coming from someone who hates aglio olio. their servings also quite generous. staff is friendly and ambience outside is gorgeous and windy. but the inside is super noisy when its crowded not to mention they consistently played loud happy birthday song over the speaker that i cant talk over it with my friends.

I just went there last week lol it was ok, and their milkshake was quite nice. It’s at Bishan sports complex near Junction 8. It’s called good bites for those people who are curious
So happy to see Randy well and about again. Would have love to see your supposedly planned Thai trip but there’s always a reason “Someone up there” stopped you from travelling. And yah, I’m also not impressed with the food at this cafe … feels “meh” only …

The food wasn’t like mind blowing or anything, but I guess so many people have so high reviews was cause it is pretty affordable and the staff there were very friendly and they go out of the way for you!
Last time i went to the Star Vista Pizza hut, they were doing a promotion for customers that buy above a certain 💸. And they ask us do a review but the staff was standing beside me and telling me i have to choose the highest rating for every question inside the survey lol. I was shocked cuz like can u force that ? 😅 sooo yea... Maybe this cafe also similar thing
I went there once for my friends bday and tried their pasta it was honestly quite nice and the price was affordable too wld actually visit there agn :D

Thanks for sharing about this cafe. I think as consumers we also shouldn't trust or rely too much on ratings we see, so long as it's not only 1 or 2 stars we can still go try it.

In my experience they used to give free ice cream for every positive review placed. That's what prompted my friends and I to leave a 5 star review.
Went out of my way to visit because of the reviews n left very disappointed by the food. Best example of how reviews can be manipulated
Tried the Tom yam pasta. it is really nice. It is creamy and very strong concentrated Tom yam taste. Their chicken waffle is good too. For the price and food quality, I think this shop is worth trying.

That's a lot of reviews. And a lot of meals served. Food presentation and interiors looks nice. Though not something I'd travel for...
It was pretty average. I believe this is the cafe at bishan stadium.
Food - okie (pretty average)
Drinks - okie to not so good (just had coffee)
Ambience - decent (clean interior and nice outdoor seats)
i just went there two days ago!!! it’s not too bad, but i prefer the pastamania’s pasta haha

I guess is not cafe problem is the chef cooking or kitchen cook staff problem I have another guessing is their company don't aim what is the problem or does not care the cafe food problem so people keeping continue say foods problem this and that... the company should start to plan out new foods to impress to customer again so they will come back again..
i think their food and service was better when they just started! now i came back find that the food is so so and a lil bit pricey

I went to this good bites, the food was not even nice. We didn’t even finish eating it. The Oreo milk shake was like ???? Weird idk man not going back there. Went there cos of 4.9 stars too😭
