I get material fron the fabric store. If you got to the clearance sections you can find many colors. The charge by the yard. I normally get the stretchy material and pay about $2 for a yard..

Every time I use a rap or head band it slips right off and too tight will give me a head ach help plz
Now that my hair is short I use a stocking cap/wig cap before I apply my headwraps. Try to avoid using fabrics that are silky, look for wraps that are made of cotton fabric.💕

This question does not have to deal with the head wraps which are amazing by the way but do you wash your hair with the twists even if the rubber band is in them still?
Yes I have done that before, but I've found that the rubberbands slowly began to pop after a few days from the wash. I ended up taking the style down once that happened.
