Out of all the candidates, no one but Michelle only has ever come across to answer this question with such strong conviction and intellect. She's confident and calm, no trace of nervousness beyond that heartfelt message. She didn't only emphasize one or couple of things, she answered in the best way possible by determining everything with cognition and complexity. 🖤 Her overall performance is powerful enough to crown her that night. True But ir wasnt a very impressive answer. It is good though considering almost every year so many girls fail. Her answer was more substantial and coherent compared to Bohol. The other girls made absolutely no sense. The Proud Pinoy was cringy though.

Makati! Her answer encompassed Bohol's answer. Keyword is "tourism", it's not limited to people's values or culture, but also importantly... the economic aspect such as beautiful beaches, etc.. which really are the best that we could offer to the world, tourism-wise. Michelle nailed that Q&A... as usual! Most DEE-serving to be MUPH.
She beat bohol with the Phrasing and Thought coordination. But she her answer went over time because she had to add the Cringy Proud to be Pinoy line which made her lose to Cortessi last year. She almost lose agqin because of the Minamahal kong Pilipinas drama.

The answers of Miss Makati is more precise, specific and understandable. The answers of Miss Bohol is very vague, and the listeners still need to think for what does she really needs to imply or to express.

There is a big difference not only with the answer but the poise,confidence and delivery of the answer…that’s why Ms Makati shone and won. Besides, she is very regal in her movements and looks like a stunning Pinay beauty. Ms Bohol is also very pretty and speaks well but you can see she was nervous and she is more a Tisay beauty…more Western than Asian.

Personally, both Ms Michelle and Ms Pauline gave great answers in the Final Q/A. Ms Michelle edged Ms Pauline when she pointed out some realistic and relatable information about Philippines. The first Q/A is a little rough. Ms Pauline gave her best, but I noticed that she herself was uncertain of her response. Ms Michelle gave a more direct and stronger answer especially when she turned towards education. On a personal note, everyone on the Top 5 were in too much pressure. 😟I am amazed how they kept their poise and grace even on that situation. Everyone did their best! 😊

Here are my thoughts. I think both gave good answers. the difference lies in the approach. Bohol’s attack was more straightforward (notice how she singled out warmth) which showed her critical thinking skill; while Makati was more rhetorical which focuses more on style & effect. If it was a closed door interview, Bohol would score higher because the response was more concrete and specific. But in a big crowd, a rhetorical answer usually works because people in general have no time to process specifics. Theyre more captivated on style and effect of delivery in a rhetoric. There you go.
