EDIT: Also interesting that the clothing is placed where you can read it as I'm Nayeon like an introduction.

No one has said her real name is "I'm Nayeon", if they have they aren't good at paying attention or are new to Twice/Nayeon

Even in the end when she throws the jacket it lands between "I" and "M"

jordan always finds a way to shine light on the little things in every mv and i love it
I love the effort they put into this solo debut and how it's so perfect for Nayeon's bubbliness. My only gripe with the continuity is when she throws her jacket, but she's still wearing it. And then as she continues dancing she's sometimes wearing it and sometimes not 🥴
PS, only thing I can think of for the checkered thing is:
1. continuity of the fan signing scene (clothes colour and pattern)
2. it's a chess board and she's a queen 😉
I tried looking for solutions and I found two possible leads. The pattern could represent the checkered flag in car racing. Checkered flooring has also been a symbol of Freemasonry. However, neither of those leads went anywhere, so I have no idea. Maybe it's supposed to be like a pop-up chess set.
I think the checkered thing is for "Pop Art" which uses lots of checkered patterns and other screen tones
This is why I like your reactions, you explain details that most of us didn't even notice, and you explain how they edited this video in such a detailed way.
Today I realised a few things-
Nayeon's full name is IM NAYEON
14:57 The word POP is on Nayeon's lip
it’s cool how the jacket lands in between the i and the m because nayeons full name is Im Nayeon and the jacket creates and apostrophe between the i and the m to make it “I’m nayeon”
same with her finger one of the last scenes
this is genuinely my favourite kpop mv so far this year like the production and editing of this ahhh [chefs kiss] jype really put everything into this (they hardly ever miss with mv production but this? genius.)

i doesnt say "i'm nayeon" its says "Im Nayeon" which is nayeons last name but in the end of the mv she puts her finger to make it "i'm nayeon"
At 7:00 there is a little glitch with the music but it’s so cool like those parts go perfect together

3:44 - 3:46 where the dancers dissappear and only there accessories stay on the screen reminds me of the old cartoons where the magician will make people disappear and they leave the smoke effect with the word pop so in the video Nayeon is like a magician herself 🎩 it's so cool and thank you Jordan for the video :3

HEY JORDAN I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU!!! I WANTED TO THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOUVE DONE!!
Because my dad paid me $250 for a huge project to do with editing and I had to make an entire trailer for his company and that required tons of edits and like you said “80% of videos are the music” and my dad kept wanting me to change things but when I told him what I learned from you and what I had planned, he trusted me and now he’s blown away. And I wanted to thank you so much for all the stuff you’ve taught me just from these reaction videos😭I know so much more now because of you and I’m so thankful for my improvement.
P.S I’ve waited so long for you to see “Pop” haha😆I’ve wanted to know how they did all the edits so again, thank you soooo much for your awesome lessons and I hope you continue to do these videos for a long time as they’ve helped me and I’m getting into a career now in editing and art 💙LOVE YOU MAN!!

My theory for the backside of the cell phone is that’s where a POP socket (subliminal suggestion) would go but they used it for continuity for her checkered outfit and the checkered flag patterned finish line leading up to the limo like a red carpet. Edit: maybe they did checkers because if Itzys comback that was coming soon at that time, it’s out now and the album is called Checkmate and their music video song is called Sneakers
Fun Facts 2: and the Louis Vuitton towel costs $975 each and they needed two of them to make that dress.
And I think the checker pattern they use for the phone matches the checkered floor and matches Nayeon’s checkered dress (when she autographs), so it’s just a pattern they repeat.
