Hey all -- I'm just now getting into creating this content so any support is welcome! This includes just letting me know what kind of content YOU think would be helpful. When it comes to my Patreon (www.patreon.com/LevelUpDM) -- I'm actively working on some of my first things to go on there. It'll be maps, homebrew monster(s), spell(s), encounter(s), adventures, unique puzzles, skill challenges, etc. alongside Q&A's, chats, and more. BUT right now, it's very bare - just a heads up.
I focus on generating laughter, tension, and revelry. We need to all have a good time smiling and laughing while using their PLAYER minds to overcome obstacles rather than relying on CHARACTER abilities. This is what I found makes everyone go home feeling energized and rewarded
This is certainly a great way to approach it! Thank you for sharing.
I going to say energy from the DM. I have a DM that shows little energy and effort in explaining things
100% important. DMs who don’t feel like they want to be there can totally ruin an experience. Sorry to hear that.
Session 0.
Stablish expectations and everyone's goal by going into the campaign.
Enjoy.
Yep! But I do think often times people don’t think about it in terms of style of play. Hopefully this inspires some folks to during their session zeros.
