Good job, this is the first video that shows the device surfaces that mate with the slide. Even ReCover's own video doesn't demonstrate this, although there's a line art illustration on their website.
bought one but doesnt stay on tight enough so after a few racks it comes off. returning it tomorrow.
Do not waste your money if buying for the S&W M&P 9mm Shield. Tightened to the max, the Recover product slides off. It does work great on my Glock 19.
I love Recovers products, I think I'll get this too since the shield is so thin unlike the Big Brother M&P.
I got this and installed on the mp shield Gen 1 with HIVIZ sights. It does not fit. The bottom part sticks out a bit and it prevents the slide to release completely.

I ordered a rack assist for a Smith & Wesson and then they said that the order was for a Glock. I'm trying to get it corrected but who knows how this is going to drag out.
This does the same effect as the German Luger pistol for loading.

What is the cost of this item
Wast3 of money for my Shield. The one I ordered for my Glock 19 works fine. However, this item, though indicated on the packaging for the 9mm Shield, once installed and tightened to the max, slides off the firearm. Does not function as illustrated in this video.
Does it have to be taken off when cleaning/disassembling the gun?

Does it work on the shield plus
Their packaging and site claim it does, but it won't fit my Shield Plus with stock night sights. It turns out that the very back of the slide is slightly different from a Shield to a Shield Plus, particularly where the back of the rear sight meets the top of the slide. I'm considering doing some trimming with a power tool or file to see if I can get it to mate up to the slide. I'd return it, but it was a Christmas gift, which makes things a little more complicated.

It does not
The EZ has tabs milled into the rear already.
If you have trouble racking the EZ, maybe get a tazer. The EZ is like 1 lb of force, if that. My wife with arthritis has no issues with the EZ.
I seen the reviews and most of them didnt fit right I should have listened 🤦🏽♂️
Update: I tried for another 15 minutes and got it on correctly, was easier once the bolt was already in, couldnt take the slide off tho so think you need to take rack assist off everytime you take off the slide to clean it

Thing is plastic!! Never use plastic in a pressure or torque environment, sooner rather than later it will fail. Junk!!!
