Also, I know for sure she was talking directly to me and me only....because she seemed to be speaking my very own language, understandingly sensitive toward my level of comprehension, and she's not even Samoan. Hi Rose - Great video, I wanted to get your thoughts on one point in Unshakeable where Tony Robbins essentially says a 401k is not worth it in the long run after all the fees. What are your thoughts on that?

    There's a difference between timing the market, and dumping money in after a confirmed drop (like March 2020).
    Also: Coffee House Investor is another great one.

    Before I watched this vid - I thought if you don't mention The Little Book of Common Sense Investing I can't take it seriously - this book changed my life and my wealth

    I think I’m going to get Unshakeable, although I have read it’s oriented towards the American market (I’m British), and also the magic formula one as I’ve seen your investment portfolio videos and I think it sounds really interesting!
    My first investment book was the richest man in babylon and I think it was a great, simplified introduction to money management.

    Hello,
    I am reading "Invested".
    it is wow, thank you for sharing.
    I have two questions:
    1. I am working on the 4 big numbers, and I have realized that the net income of companies like Tesla and Amazon over the years is negative. Is it manipulated just to avoid paying tax?
    2. You are so knowledgeable in the field, why do you prefer to invest in Index instead of doing your own research?

    I am pretty sure that I'll be going the Index Funds route, so I will be picking up Unshakable and The Little Book...Investing. But first, I gotta read the other five books in your other video. Wheh! Lots to watch on your channel, and lots to read to increase my investing/money literacy. Thanks for the vid.

    Tough question for you: As claimed by your video title, did these 5 books make you rich?

    • @balatforever10
      @balatforever10 Před 4 lety +1

      Where in the title does it mention that after reading the books, you’ll be rich?

    • @scottbookreviews2198
      @scottbookreviews2198 Před 4 lety +1

      books give advice and strategies to get rich you have to do the work yourself

    • @emzx111
      @emzx111 Před 4 lety

      Nothing will guarantee you will be rich because it’s an amalgamation of so many moving parts. But what you can do is prepare yourself as best as you can by reading books etc. And even then there is NO guarantee but you’ve done your best and that’s that. Move on. Try again.
