i'm gonna do my offgrid using 12v for all the lighting. tall fridge/freezer combo that runs 12v or 120v. probably do compost toilet.

Unlike lead acid, I believe you should have no problem connecting different capacity lifepo4's in parallel. I do it with my lithium batteries.

I get free used batteries of different ages. I mix them all the time mainly because they are free and i dont want them to go to waste.
I do many things that wouldn't be a great idea to recommend every one else do.

thats what you need . lfp battery when you can manage . yige difference . 240ah at 12v are available . ive got an rv im keeping alive on solar. youve got hi winds but enclosed ,a cheap one isn't a bad starter option . ebay,etc. shop local . you've got your van. similar concept . toilet can be removed ,replaced. will look into . big fan of richs equipment . panels and controllers . im running 4*200w on a 40a to a 240ah lfp rn.
ive got mains power but thinking about og planning .

Hey there Frugal. What internet satellite are you using? Starlink? recommendations for someone mobile in airstream? Im afraid that technology is moving so fast that dropping $800 on Starlink will be obsolete equipment in a year down the road.
I highly doubt they would have launched so many satellites just to be out dated a year later. Star link is $600. If you can afford airstream you can afford internet. Lol
