I sat up tonight, unable to sleep once again, and I came to see what was on CZcams hoping to find something interesting. I found much more. I found this song, which is about exactly what I am going through, yet I didn't know it until now. It's funny how God will lead us if we allow him to. He will show us what we need when we need it. Sometimes we need to experience things to a point that will break us down, so we will have room to build the next thing he has for us. It's like he is holding a hand out for the next journey, and we cant take it because we're too busy holding all the things from the wreckage we've just come out of. Put it down, be healed and free, take his hand and move forward! Thanks Lord. And thanks Nicole.
God, grabbed hold of me in the car with this song right before I got out of the car. It was a confirmation of weeding out the things of the past to go forward. I have heard the song many times before.
Amanda BB. I like that you said this! It gave me more of an understanding of this song and I can tell you that what you said it 100% true... I just left an abusive marriage a month after I gave birth to my son. I moved in with family who are supporting me with everything right now. I had to quit both my jobs to stay home and take care of my baby. I've been itching to go back to work and have money for us. When I had finally let go and let God do His thing and not worry about anything... he sent me to the fire department and they offered to send me to the fire academy to become a fire fighter. I leave January 8th of next year for the academy.
The hardest pain to endure is knowing the wall I built (and now must be brought down) was a false self-assurance of what God wanted me to build - just to cope with my pain. When God breaks that wall, he knows what is better for me! Through my faith, I love God and I know what God builds - NOTHING can break his love, his promise or his care and compassion for me.
SO glad she's still relevant today, I've missed her voice!

This song is in my head often!! It was constant as I staffed a leadership/personal development course 2 weeks ago, representing the journey of going for dreams and goals, and those moments when I only have my faith. Today, I am sharing with family and friends of a fellow businesswoman who died suddenly this week. For her husband, small children, and all who have known and been touched by her, I empathize that right now feels like an "Unmaking". Thank you for such a beautiful song that expresses something that only can be done through music.
