Do not mess with BrightPath mortgage in Dunwoody, Georgia.
I'm truck driver and an automotive youtuber. I was closing yesterday on a $187k house and they didn't have the money at closing. The loan officer lied at lease 3 time doing the process.
I have great credit but he said because I was a first time home buyer. My interest rate should be 3.875. I've been on my job 13 years and in the same apartment for 20 years. He said that didn't matter because I was not paying a mortgage.
He would tell me everything was fine but then call me at the last minute and say there is a problem and need something crazy.
One of those times, he call and said the appraiser report was not coming back quick enough and I had to pay an extra $100 to speed it up.
