I have a stationery suggestion - small whiteboard. I saw it somewhere and its actually genius for practicing chemistry and math because youre not just writing a million reactions and going endlessly through paper

I go to school in Germany and in our school System your work in class so for example how many times you raisy your hand our how well you do your homework makes 60 Percent of your final grade. So you would think that it reduces the amount of stress before an exam and in a way it does, but the problem is that teachers grade us very diffrently. Some give you an A when you do your homework and raise your hand once in while and others give you a C for the same amount of work. And also for shy people, like me, it puts even more presure on, because I can´t enjoy the lessons, because I´m constanly worried that I won´t raise me hand often enough. SO most of the time I would get a A in my exam but a B as my final grade, because I haven´t raised my hand enough- I don´t even now why I´m writing this, but I wish that the my school system would be more similar to yours:)

well basically as a german student too i can say, that this system is different from school to school, and federal state to federal state. Here in Thuringia, we have a system called "Epochalnote" where everybody gets observed two or three times in a term and gets his or her grade afterwards with regard to the quality of their answers, the amount of work they did in class and how it effected the lesson. But this grade counts as a normal mark. In contrast, exams are weighted differently, and make up a third of the course grade.
Yes!! And also, if the teacher doesn't like you he can just give you a bad participation grade and there's nothing you can do about it. I would prefer an objective, mesurable system.

I am Canadian. Thanks so much for giving my country and my people a good image so that when people watch you in this video they know what we are for sure nice. I love Canada and if I did not live in Canada I would probably live in the UK. I don’t like the systems in the US to ever consider living there

I’m the same with hogwarts houses Jade, I always switch between hufflepuff and ravenclaw! And yeah, we don’t have school uniform here in norway and I’m actually so jealous, it just seems to easy!

The main problem with the French School System is that you have to basically do your final exams in almost all subjects( I have my baccalaureate in about 10 subjects), even things you really don't enjoy. So it kind of takes away the fun of learning
You and Ruby have helped me a lot with my motivation, I really admire you guys. So happy that this video exists ❤

The thing is I actually don't mind revising, after I revise I feel really accomplished. But I find it so hard to get motivated and keep motivated as well as staying focused. I've been trying to write an essay for like an hour now.

Love this video! In answer to one of your questions, I wish the education system would stop changing the grade boundaries so each year is comparable and people aren' left out because the grade boundaries keep getting higher. I also wish actual knowledge was tested because if you ask some people 6 months after their exams what they can remember, I bet you it won' be a lot 😯 and that' not what learning is about.

awe I moved to Canada when I was 6 and moved back 8 years later (unfortunately because of my dads work) and it was such a great experience! The natural landscape and the people just made it a wonderful time. Im planning on getting my nursing degree and then going back there!
btw I lived in Alberta on the doorstep to the rocky mountains! I literally went hiking with a bear (thank the lord it had no cubs) on Canada day! How crazy
