Hey thanks for the video, I've just started and been using the quarterstaff as it can block and swapping to the spellbook when i want to cast.
Should i be using the magicians staff instead like yourself?

Thank you for watching! Magic staff does more damage as a melee weapon, but quarterstaff still benefits from the staff mastery perk. Really it’s just preference

Early game yes, it is definitely wizard’s strongest starter build as far as damage and mob clear goes
