- The Volunteers rally despite turnovers and injuries to force overtime, but the Aggies prevail in double OT in a thriller.

I was at that game, and almost had a heart attack at 19 years old when he fumbled it into the endzone. Great game.
I really appreciate you showing big plays and all scores from both teams, rather than just our Aggies. Keep up the great work, and Gig 'Em.
gig ‘em let’s make it to the cfp
@@christbh16 wish we had :(
@@arjunpaddle9647 yea 😔 but let’s beat unc
@@christbh16 notre dame fan you guys shoulda made it in
I’m a Pitt fan who very randomly as a child decided to also root for Tennessee and Texas A&M. This game was perfection. Two teams I root for from afar, both in the top 10, both undefeated, going into 2OT. Thanks for uploading these highlights!
Yea was a great game... Pitt beat us too this past year...idk when we'll see them again but yalls qb for Pitt ( forgot his name) came to life and killed us in that game
@@GetSoberWithMe yeah, Pickett was unreal last season. Tennessee comes to Pittsburgh week two this upcoming season. I think Pitt’s defense will be really good, but whether the offense can keep up, I guess we’ll see!
That crowd roar at the game winning interception was epic.
SAW IT LIVE!!!!
Blondeucus Plays Games me to
I was there yelling with them
Classic game! This was a rollercoaster, and probably the most fun to watch last season in my opinion. But then again almost every UT game last season was highly entertaining/emotional coming from a vols fan lol, but this game specifically was something special. Hats off to A&M. #GBO
I was lucky enough to experience the Kentucky 2018 game, this game, and UCLA 2016 as a student and in the section where the last play occurred. I love Kyle Field.
Not a fan of either team, but games like this are why I love the sec so much. Kamara showed us why he’s so good too
Tennessee's first trip to College Station won't ever be forgotten - this is as good as it gets in college football. This also might have been the slowest, longest game I have ever seen, almost 5 hours long. And the overtimes were only around 20 minutes of that. Still though, instant classic all the way. Bravo.
Ya its because so many people were dropping like flies so there were a lot of injury timeouts and there were so many quick explosive plays from both teams so not much time was able to run off the clock. Normally games arent that long but this one was weird
Just wanted to say thanks for doing highlights that show all the important moments, not just the good plays by the aggies (cough, cough, TAMUHighlights).
Damn with a name like TAMUHighlights how dare they only show the good plays.
Don't get me wrong, the TAMUHighlights reels are fun, but they don't work at all as a way to relive or recap the game.
Great job once again man. Love how you do your editing, showing both teams highlights and important plays, with important flags and everything not just highlights. I've been waiting around, checking youtube every 20 mins on sundays for almost 3 years now. Keep up the good work!
Awesome game between two great teams! This one is for the record books.
i Watched This Game From Start To Finish And After I Said "Thank You Texas A&M" 👏👏
Major props to Kamara. That guy was the difference between a 20-point loss and UT scoring 35. This game was a lot of fun, let's do it again in a few months after we all take care of Bama.
Nick Dorrance 😂😂 how’d that work out
I'm a Vols fan and that was a great game. Congrats Aggies.
That game made my whole year, I was there and the crowd was so lit when Armani watts made that game winning pic
Ill always remember this game. Almost didn't go. Glad I did.
Hey woodlands Aggie, Great work on your videos. Keep it up!
Good vid man, and congrats on your teams win! Go Vols!
good job! Been waiting on this. thanks
This game is a classic, but good lord the turn overs in this one lmaoo
I was at that game when I was 8, beat experience I’ve had in my life but that noise gave me the worst headache I’ve had on my life😂
Best experience
RIP Terry Price ❤. Came back to watch him rolling on the ground at the end of this game
Sure was a classic. Our offense NEEDS to play the whole game and give our defense some help,
aww you didn't include the targeting play and Gillaspia waving him goodbye! hahaha
OMG...That was HILARIOUS!
which was really just payback hit for the missed targeting hit that caused the fumble earlier. both were targeting and both should have been called. but only one was seen by the officials. we won, gig em and the BTHO bye week
+Austin Hodnett That. Was. Not. Targeting. Did he blindside him to the head? No. He just hit him in the head. Head shots, while cheap, are not illegal. Headshots when the player doesn't see it coming, are.
he just gave that long hair dude a taste of his own medicine in which cullen clearly should a been called fpr targeting on the ko return a few plays back
lmao - that's textbook targeting. Read the rule. Not all helmet to helmet hits are targeting - however this is. Rule states that 'Leading with the “helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area"' is an indicator. There's the defenseless player portion of the rule (which this doesn't apply since he's the ball carrier) and then the other side of the rule which applies here... Making “forcible contact against an opponent with the helmet crown,” or the top of the tackler’s head regardless of whether he's the ball carrier or defenseless. #12 clearly hit #29 with the crown of his helmet directly in the facemask... aka the head or neck area so it pretty much meets 2 different criteria. It was a blown call as you can see him lead with the crown of his helmet into the face at 3:59.
Tennessee had double Tamu stats, turnovers killed us. 6 of them smh 🤦♂️#govols #gbo
Gotta admit as a tenn fan this game was fun to watch
Um... yall still turned it over... it shows your offense was not consistent
After a 21 point lead and to come back and almost win the game....... Tennessee has nothing to be ashamed of!! A&M would have never got over that, lol.....
10:47 you can hear me screaming in the end zone mics for the TN TD
Thanks for comin to college station
Great video! I think I have watched that last INT by Watts over 50 times. Love hearing the roar of the crowd when it happens.
Great game, Aggies! See you in Atlanta. Go Big Damn Orange!
Haha. Maybe not... :/
*learns we didn’t go to Atlanta*
😂😂😂 neither of yall was ready for Bama
The way the Tennessee head coach at the end looked was hilarious.
Forgot about this game..sec is no joke both these teams ended up losing a bunch of games after
Our kicker needs to make those 30 yard field goals
He'll get better with time. He's still kinda young, and not every kid can be a Dan Bailey or Stephen Gostkowski.
Jon Temujin Still, it's like a chip shot. Also, you can't miss a 30 yard field goal THAT badly
TheSportsGamer GOOOOO VOOOLLLLLLLLLSSSSSS
HELL of a ballgame! Rough, tough, real stuff.
Game of the year. Even though I wanted UT to win, this game was insane
I like both of these teams (I'm an Auburn fan) but the SEC game of the year that year was the double Hail Mary game between Tennessee and Georgia
Best games of all time
Great memories!!!
How about all the NFL stars on this one what an Epic Game!!
What a fine ball game!! Thanks Vols beat Bama!!
Wish Tenn hadnt ran that play at the end ..he was completely covered up but what a great game it was
What a game.... Unfortunately somebody had to lose and it was us. Go Vols.
Top 5 game of the year......GBO
One of the best games from that year. Not to take anything away from Texas A&M, but the fact that Tennessee had like what 6 or 7 turnovers and still managed to send the game to OT is absurd. The better team won however.
They were holding Myles Garrett on every play. why was it not called?
Classic game 🎉😮
@2:16..... is this where the Philadelphia Eagles got their "Philly Special" play that helped win their 1st SuperBowl? Lol either way, both of these were executed perfectly.
Has anyone noticed that during SEC matchups the announcers are ALWAYS going for the other team? They don't ever say which team they are actually rooting for, but they low key talk down to a&m while low key praising the other SEC team. Is this because a&m is widely unwanted in the SEC?
Verne is retiring from football after this season, so we don't have much longer to listen to him.
I don't know if it's so much that we are unwanted. My buddy and I were just talking about why people hate us Aggies so much. Our school spirit and love for A&M and each other is on a level that most can't understand, so we get hated on. As we like to say, from the outside you can't understand it. Even my mom thinks I'm nuts. I graduated in 93 and she does not understand why I can't let it go.
aktxag I know I’m waaaaaay late but EVERYBODY and I mean EVERYBODY hates tennessee y’all do not have it bad at all
Just think about all the names you are hearing that were on A&M that year....
No offense but i'm a vol fan.
Should have gone for 2 after the TD
So we ignoring the targeting on evan berry ?
And that was the end of the Vols season.
So does Tennessee highlights. I don't think Texas A&M have highlights of their running back going for a 75 yard touchback. It's biased. The only thing you see is the score go from 21-7 to 35-35. Not to mention Alvin Kamara is the first back to have over 100 yards rushing, receiving , and returning. Chavis is a damn good D coordinator. National Championship w/ Tenneseee and LSU. After Sumlin loses his job maybe we can get him back.
All those turnovers killed the Vols in this one
7 turnovers still had a chance to win. That says alot
Took Aggie football 14 years to recover from Gates firing of Slocum.
Still don't see how Gillaspia didn't get thrown out for spearing on that hit to Evan Berry
Bronson Black it was targeting at the least. Grow of the helmet hit is face mask automatic ejection. But we shouldn't have turned the ball over 40 times.
7 turnovers and tennessee was still in the game
saddest moment as a vol fan
Great game, too bad my vols lost
Go Vols
my bowl knee was down lol
A&M tried their best to choke it away, but failed.
2:25 Philly special.
How did TN even get it to OT. With all the turnovers they'd have beaten you by 30
A&M had 3 turnovers including one that essentially wiped 7 points off the board and led to 7 points for Tennessee. So....it's not like Tennessee just gave the game away. A&M tried to give it away as well.
16:47
No targeting call on Evan berry is what lost us that game ! Refs were horrible in this game !
It's amazing to me that so many morons naysayed on A&M joining the SEC. Our program fits in that league like hand in glove. And I will even venture to say that a lot of diehard SEC people have had to admit that we've made the conference better.
Glad to have you guys in the SEC, Passionate fans base big stadium great tradition You guys was a excellent choice, PS bet Texas is jealous
Go vols
How was that not targeting at the 3:33 mark? Gary Danielson just laughs. Awful.
A&M wouldn't have won if Tennessee hadn't given them the game with all those turnovers.
Texas A&M wins since 1994.
Gig em aggies what a classic
A couple weeks later, neither of these schools would ever sniff the top 10 again.
Woodlands Aggie, love your work, but this one did not come up in search results. I think because 'vs and Tennessee" was bunched together as "vsTennessee". If you separate the vs and Tennessee, it will come up in search results and you'll get a lot more hits.
Thanks for the heads-up. Should be fixed now.
Good-bye to the orange and white...
it's actually "so long to the orange and white". i'm a vol fan and even i know that. see you in atlanta
+Benjamin Bannister cocaine is a hell of a drug
An excuse used by any losing team
Had Tennessee turned it over even 4 times instead of 7 they would have blown A&M out
Uh, no. A&M turned it over 3 times themselves, including a ridiculous strip/touchback at the end of the game. If Williams just slides down at the 2 yard line, the game is over. If A&M's kicker didn't shank a simple FG at the end of regulation, game over.
@@WoodlandsAggie well as I dont have a dog in this fight, I'm gonna agree to disagree. Still think Tennessee should have won that game. Epic game none the less
Go for two on the road... smh
All the missed calls against Am. SMH. Only reason they won.
Wouldve beat the shit out of A&M if it werent for 7 turnovers
Should've, could've, would've wah wah wah. If it weren't for 3 missed field goals in 2012 A&M would be playing for an SEC Championship. Mistakes are part of the game dummy.
I hope you Aggie fans realize that the Vols wouldve won if it wasnt for all their stupid turnovers. Yall got lucky and escaped with a win against them
Isaiah Bakes I don't know man...Trevor Knight was on fire...Go Vols!
52,453,795 views We were playing right there with them, and we had tons of unnecessary turnovers. If they played a clean game they wouldve won
Isaiah Bakes or the targeting that wasn't called . or 200 injuries or the reffs obviously one sided
Instagram brought me here
Refs ruined this game. That's a fact
Worst announcers ever.
