The top decks are all so fun this format. Looking forward to watching worlds
Looks like charizard had to bow down to the new tech options for Gardevoir. I'm surprised there is no future deck or Iron Thorns EX Quad deck
Don't sleep on Jamming Tower in Regidrago. Helps fix a poor Gardy matchup and has many other uses too.
I came back to the game to find Regidrago VSTAR is now meta. Damn, my old casual Regidrago cards is finally going to see some use lol
Havent been playing but this meta sounds pretty fun? Should i get back into it now?
as a magic and Yu-Gi-Oh player it is always so weird seeing only like, 6 energy's
I think regidrago should be in the top 10 forsure
I can’t wait till gardevoir and lost box rotate so tired of them
Ancient box
I'm 100% new to the game and I'm pretty lost on what deck to build, are there any in particular that would be easy to pick up and learn?
Gardevoir ex is probably the best. Not only is it extremely good (number 1 in the video) but you can get most of the cards in the Gardevoir ex league battle deck and then add in the new options!
If you’re playing TCG live, I’d recommend experimenting in casual mode with the decks they provide until you build confidence and find a deck you like!
You can always make adjustments to the pre-made decks too!
Raging Bolt
Personally, the first tournament I ever won was with Solrock-Lunatone. although I guess it’s outdated now, it’s still really beginner friendly
Chien pao
I still wonder what happened to lost zone giratina... it's basically half of lzb but with a huge attacker, but with tougher options to make due to less options in the first place
It is played much less than normal Lost Zone Box, but online it still places well for how little it’s played. I think it’s played a lot less because in this meta you have to play it very differently and prioritize Giratina VSTAR even more because many decks can knock out the V turn 1 or 2. With the popularity of Gardevoir, Giratina is also played less because LZB has a better match up, but Giratina is better into Charizard and Dragapult.
If stall and stage 2 decks increase in popularity so will Giratina.
Giratina is better when the big HP Pokemon are popular because it can one-shot them with Star Requiem or even Lost Impact + Max Belt. Tina is more of a liability when small attackers are in the meta, such as right now with Gardy/Lost Box/Lugia. I can see Tina coming back a bit if Charizard becomes more popular again.
@@Derfalken usually I find running prime catcher to be better since they can easily lost vacuum away my max belt, plus if you play properly then you have star requiem for a free knockout, and you can actually use prime to snipe pidgeot or switch into a radiant greninja to snipe the bench
It works especially well against regidrago since it hits that perfect 280 that regidrago has, meaning it's easier if you've used your vstar power that game.
Tina's a wild deck, just you have to utilize the things that compliment it to truly optimize it like it is in lzb
Ogerpon Cornerstone & Mimikyu got me to Masters. It is quite toxic .😂
3 semanas ya extraño el contenido de este canal :C
Don't sleep on Ancient Box
Me, who plays a Walking Wake EX Deck xD But its actually strong. Just not Top Meta Material i guess.
nice! what a good, direct and informative video!
This meta is 1 good mill deck away from completly falling apart. All meta decks are "box" like decks meaning mill will screw up a lot of 1 ofs people are playing. Sadly great tusk mill just isnt consistent enough later in the game.
I collected cards when I was a kid and never actually played the game growing up. I decided to start playing and its fun, but is there a mode to play where ex and fancy cards aren't allowed? Like just normal pokemon matches?
look up GLC format
@@timothytunks2773 YEAH DUDE! Something just like that! I'm reading on it and it sounds fun, but I don't think Pokemon TCG Live has that as a selectable mode?? My understanding is I'd have to send invites and we just agree on the rules???
@@chris_htepo correct. My suggestion is build a few irl decks and bring them to your local Pokemon league
@@timothytunks2773 shit, I have to socialize haha I've never played irl before but it does sound fun. thanks for the replies! It just got real lol
In pokemon tcg live sadly the closed to that is expanded format
just getting back into TCG after like a decade i bought the palkia battle deck are any of the cards in that still viable ?
In Chein pao it’s pretty good, not top tier but not bad
There is a blastoise deck that involves origin form palkiaV / Vstar I’m having a lot fun with
Same, I quit for a year (because when i migrated from online to live i lost my cards) and when i came back idk whats happening... But i decided to build gardevoir ex and charizard ex 👍
Palkia is about to become really good with some new cards from Stellar Crown so it's very viable.
Curious: Why do you call the players "pilots"?
Because the deck doesn't matter as much as the player behind it. Think of it like a person in charge of an army, like they have resources, people and they need to ensure they can reach their goal through decision making
Greninja froslass é o deck mais subestimado do formato
Cara acho o greninja absurdamente roubado.
where is pidgeot control?
Is it okay to have little energy?
Yes. You should try to make every deck work with the least amount of energy possible. You see Chien Pao with 8 water 1 lightning, when im sure beginner deck builders would start with much more energy. Optimized decks are going to make the most out of the least.

🎉
This kind of list is so funny. I destroy all of these decks with my ancient box 90% of the time and this deck isn't even on the list.
That's what I'm doing on live, funny how you just destroy the meta but still nobody notices
Decklist please
Basically you've just reupload last month video.
Nice work fellow
Last month's video was an opinion piece with my predictions and opinions on the best decks.
This month's ranking was completely based on tournament results.
Just say you didn't watch more than a minute of each video.
@@CeliosNetwork let say that friendo.
@@MegaFriggodo you make videos full time friendo?
