I guess they made it that way so you need to actually commit to it. If there was a simple input option it wouldn't be the same. I don't think it'd be good to have a simple input for a move that causes you to lose the round if you whiff or don't beat the opponent with it.

This game doesn't really have very hard game plans in general, so even though it's going to be hard if you are new to fighting games you will figure things out quickly

She may have a lot of options and setups but that doesnt mean you have to use all of them. Relying on bread and butters at first but then slowly discovering her secrets sounds like a great time to me. Her gameplan is pretty straightforward (she doesnt have weird/unique win conditions) so just learn her confirms and play her like Soriz.

Honestly? General consensus seems to be she's mid/mid-high tier. She has a lot of options, but compared to the current top tiers, she's actually very fair in execution. She's got a lot of weird conditions to work with.
she's not top tier, she's mid tier at best not having M or H high low enders means you have no mix at all on the ground so basically you just have to hold down back to counter her every skill being stuck to one guage means you really can't continuously apply pressure like all other character in the game, basically she's permanently lucious at LV1, that and all of her skills barely does any chip meaning chip kill is nearly impossible with her tldr, no real mix without meter, special are all limited on same meter, literally no defensive option, and although she has good normals not having any real mix means you're playing strike throw street fighter where everyone else have 66L. unless the dev do something about her gauge problem and give her some armor or guard point on some special you're going to have a hard time with majority of the roster
2B from Soulcalibur VI 2B losing parts of her clothes comes from her game. And it involves self-destruct. Soulcalibur VI has a mechanic that certain attacks break parts of every characters (except geralt iirc) clothes.
Fun character to fight against. I also really like how 2b she is - really good transition of her moves from NieR and even the self-destruct costume change made it in (do her SSBA in that state and enjoy the fanservice xD) My only issues are her j.H (I feel it's too strong since from my experience, only dedicated AAs can defeat it contrary to other characters') and her 214B - the fact it ignores projectiles but then makes 2b herself immune to them as well just feels too cheap.
... i mean, 2b's base game gives you the ability to remove some of her clothes ... so it's accurate to the source material that this is an option she has in both the fighting games she is in ...
@@chillmadude I wouldn't necessarily say it's a bad thing either Personally I think it's funny as hell, I think anyone who played Nier Automata remembers the first time they worked up the courage to hold down the self destruct button for the full timer, probably expecting to get an ending, only to see 2b get up with 1 hp and perfectly intact, except for the fact that her skirt had somehow been perfectly removed in the explosion. It's just so goofy.
