I thank you again for all those course video you are gracefully offer for us in order to start learning the Tabla. I finally received my Tabla set. I followed your video about how to tune, very helpful explanation as usual. My number one problem as beginner, quite old beginner now at 51 years old is my sitting position. This is Minot natural position for me, in fact I'm never siting like this so after 10mns I must stop because of pain on my back and my knees. To bad, maybe more practice will allow me to play more. In any case I'm still motivated to follow your video. I'm leaving in a small village in south of France. No Tabla players around and even less teachers ! Most of the time people are surprised first by my instrument, never seen and/or eared before. Hope one day I will be able to play some simple bols with good sound. Thank you again. Merci

This lesson listen first time in my life baya practice. It is look like adhaa teental. It is very nice bol sir. I will pratice this bol and I can play in sai bhajan (bhagawan sri sathya sai baba bhajan). Thank for sharing this bol sir.

As always Guru Ji, excellent lesson. You are such a great teacher and these videos are SO helpful to those of us putting in the time to learn and train.
I would highly recommend the skype lessons with Tej Singh Ji to anyone who wants excellent instruction, methodology and tips. We can only do so much on our own, you must have someone watch your playing and critically breakdown any problems with hand mechanics etc.

Sir, Kina Take Thina Kina - this one seems unclear if you can advise please, using index and rest fingers as thap, bit confused as you seem to use full hand for thap and then some times you use index + others....so if you can clarify please. Appreciate your help. Thanks you in advance.
if you going 50kmh then use index finger, if going 100 kms, use Ring finger for Na.
