Same with everyone, I got my X3 Pro NFC, heavy gaming and all. Very much amazed with the specs and of course with the price of X6 Pro, finally a worthy phone to buy and to replace my current X3.
It is a brilliant smartphone indeed.
Using this phone for about 2 weeks, and i have one conclusion - this review is spot on! So quick and powerful it's a joy.. after using a Xiaomi a3 with clean android it is annoying, but slowly I'm customise it and it's not so bad, camera is nice but definitely there is better cameras in this price range, battery is good and the charging is incredible, never had something like this. But I've been told to expect 2 days full using and it's not happening, but still reasonably good. I was looking for the best chipset at around 270 $ and the x6 pro is the one.
It is a fabulous deal! Rumors say that the 14T will be based on this platform
Been using redmi note 8 since 2020, glad i change to x6 pro...its like night and day compare to my old phone. And the best thing is it doesnt cost me my kidney .😂

Same here👍🏻. Note 13 Pro+ will probably cost 100€ more at least in EU and it looks amazing in multicolor vegan leather. But Poco X6 Pro looks just as stunning in iconic Poco yellow-black 💛🖤 which is also in premium vegan leather. Note 13 Pro+ main camera seems to be same quality as Poco in reviews I've seen on YT but of course with much better 4x zoom because of its 200mp sensor. My choice will most likely be 💛🖤 Poco X6 Pro.

But if you like iconic Poco color yellow-black 💛🖤 then it's just as good plus it's the only color on X6 Pro that has vegan leather finish. In EU Poco will be much cheaper than Note 13 Pro+ so for me the winner is Poco in 💛🖤.

I really wanna buy this in Yellow Skin, but my questions are:
1. Is it okay to choose the 8/256 version? If I assuming to use it for maybe 5+ years
2. Is it enough for someone who likes photography and videography, I must say for newbie content creator?

256 will definitely not be enough. Thats equivalent to less than a gigabyte per week if you plan to keep it over 5 years. Thats about 2 minutes per week total. Its completely unacceptable. If you plan on using cloud storage, why not just put that money towards a more capable device?
You genuinely could fill up that storage in a day of recording. Im getting the M6 Pro because it has expandable storage. The camera sensor is the same but the processor is slightly worse, so it will perform slightly worse but still be good enough. And it means i can expand my storage and record a lot on holiday
@@marcus.HSounds like a bad case of data management. I've survived on 128 with just cloud storage, and even transfering to a PC.

Unfortunately no xiaomi phones support desktop mode, like Motorola, Samsung etc.

How many ads are built into the phone and can they be removed without rooting the phone?
Just turn off notifications from that app.
No ads if you know how to turn it off, no need to root the device. I dont know about hyperos but it works on miui 14

Mine arrived two days ago and I installed the usual google apps and deleted the Chinese equivalents and that's it, no ads, the only reason you see ads is cause those apps that are optional

POCO X3 pro ...comes with 5160 mAh battery and 1 Tb space for card memory....also 8 Gb ram and 256 Gb internal ....and we are talking here about the year 2021....🙄🙄🙄..!!!...this features were extremely expensive on any other smartphone...so for 2024 X6 doesn't bring much . ...!!!

My only gripe is that it's about time they upgrade that main 64mp sensor they've been using it for years now and a better ultranwide. That's all.

I found a deal which the Xiaomi 13T cost around 60$ more than the Poco X6 pro and i really can't decide.
The Xiaomi phone has less bloatware and perhaps a little better camera. The Poco has better overall performance.
Been thinking it the same for awhile but I decided Poco X6 pro. The speaker is really loud... 😊
X3 NFC It records at 4/30fps in ultrawide and even today Xiaomi doesn't add that anymore. Only at the top of the line. And SELFIES always in 1080p. At least Xiaomi 14 is 4K even with weak HDR+ vs S23/S24 and iPhones

I haven't noticed any issues with overheating or battery drain.
Poco is more of a gaming phone, while Redmi isn’t. If gaming is your priority then choose poco otherwise choose redmi.
For the camera, redmi is better and if you also like curved screens

Better check with TMobile whether the needed bands are supported. The global version is unlocked.
No this device does not support CDMA. Most likely you will run into network problems. Hance do not buy Xioami phones It's a very bad brand tracking, safety and privacy does not exist at a very bad level, not like every other company they cross the lines without limitations. Xioami will end up like Huawei soon. In this Poco series you will see advertising in your photo gallery app 😅 so think about the access Xioami have to your privacy 😅

Honestly from the past about 1 year i have liked realme gt2 pro and pixel a series (6a, 7a, etc) but are a bit pricey for me...

great camera (at least one), (wide angle included, hopefully not terrible and a zoom or microscope camera (like on gt2 pro) are just a bonus)
headphone jack is a high preference
preferably snapdragon cpu (but a higher end MTK is ok)
ram >=8gb
i am not too fussed about the screen as long as its at least 1080p and fairly bright (no record breaking nits required). 90hz or even 60hz will be acceptable. (been running chinese phones till now and refresh rate has not been needed or much noticed)

This phone is a great match. The current Mediatek Dimensity SoCs are great.
Pixel 7a is awesome if slow charging is fine with you. X6 Pro is great. I loved last year's Poco F5 Pro

just bought the x6 pro. very poor sound quality. seems they messed up the sound driver. it has the worse sound in both speakers and bluetooth among my 20+ phones in last ten years.

PoCO X6, X6 pro and M series. Dear reviewer you are not telling people about all the ads integrated with systems apps and Poco launcher! This phone has hidden apps such as MI Coin! Go find it and look at the all the permissions the app has and try to find what is the function of it 😅 Xioami using people's phone to mine their coin??? There are a lot of systems apps you cannot disable or uninstall and even then you provoke all the permissions the app has regardless of the giving it's all the permissions again soon after you close the app. These phones are trash! Be careful people this phone doesn't have any security or privacy it's like a Spy Marine. Xioami needs to fix these issues. Xioami keeps ruining their already damaged reputation.
After 4 years of use, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has not encountered any advertisement issues.

Head into device 👉 Settings, then find section called App or Apps and chose see all the Apps, and have look if you see something there as an application that you never seen in your system UI menu. Give it a try you may get a surprise 😜 there. It's Xiaomi man, the most uncertain company in the world. Xioami devices have zero privacy and security.Mi series are still better than Realme and Poco series the worst is Poco, Xioami turns Poco UI into a spying satellite. Also Chinese companies have to follow the Chinese dictator government rules they have no chance to deny. Most likely China's bad government forces them to this kind of privacy and security breach. I can't really blame only the company's CCP man a dictatorship. Just like Huawei, Huawei didn't choose anything they have to do whatever CCP says otherwise you will get dissolved the very next day 😂.
@@kamal92606 I think you are not aware of it. Dive in your settings and find all the apps installed in your phone and the ones that don't show up in the menu. Mi and Realme series is still better than Poco. Xiaomi turns Poco UI into a spy satellite 🛰️ 😂 but I recommend check it out you maybe surprised. Current Poco UI android (Mi UI 14 Poco Version) have 11 application that don't show up in the menu, and you can't uninstall or disable them, (they are not system apps, they are spaying and add apps 😂) such as. MI Pay, Mi Coin... There are more and more. If you try to turn off permissions they have as soon as you leave the app, the app grants himself all the permissions again. You can try and see if you have one of those apps.
