Thanks for your video. I recently bought the sauna, and there are so many issues. My doors are not going in the slots lining up, the door jam part is so cheap it wont stay on. They also sent me a heater with a bad outlet that was broken!! Now I have to wait till I get the new heater. I do have a question for you, you got the red light it looks like. My electrician says you can't upgrade your fuse breaker to a 30amp on a 20 amp plug in. What is your knowledge on this please. I have tried to ask the company but they keep sending me the 20amp plug in...? Appreciate your feedback!!! Thank you
Sorry to hear about that. We actually don’t have the red light. We upgraded to the third full spectrum heater. If you go through the tour video I go over our upgrades. As far as the breaker box question. You don’t have to upgrade your breaker box but you do have to upgrade your outlet if adding the red light therapy. We had an electrician run another line to our breaker box for our sauna to keep it on its own breaker. Like I said if upgrading to red light or extra full spectrum heater you need to upgrade your outlet to a 120v/30amp. Hi, Graham when you get a moment if you dont mind me asking when you first turned on your Sanctuary 2 for the very first timd did you notice any odor from the heaters? I think it may be the door heaters but it could also be the wall ones. It kind of smells a little like a burning curling iron smell. Maybe because it is new? I am wondering if you experienced this and if it dissipates. Im hesitant to use until that resolves. It is definitely a work horse. That is impressive. I got it up to 170 on the first try!
Hey Kelly thanks for watching. Yes it’s been a while but I do remember a smell the first time. I think I ran it for like an hour on its own the first time then I didn’t smell it anymore. But to be safe make sure you check for any smoke. You might also reach out to Julie. She is the dealer I recommend. She has treated our viewers great and can give you some feedback as well.

Hi! Quick question if you don't mind! My Sanctuary 2 arrived and is assembled the heaters have gold heat rods inside and the outside is covered in black felt. Do yours look like that? I haven't even turned them on yet as I'm waiting for the electrician. I have been in a Clearlight and have never seen the heaters look like that. I did order from the official Clearlight site. Yes I went through the official Clearlight website. I wonder if the felt is new in the past few years. I have never seen it on another Clearlight. Did your have a smell? Im hoping its just a wood smell. Its not toxic smelling but there is an odor.

Hi! Love the video. I’m interested in purchasing this model and am debating on getting the extra door mounted heater. Is the third heater necessary to get the sauna to certain temperatures and/or does it heat it up faster? What’s the top temperature with the heaters that come standard? Edited to phrase my questions better..😊
Hey thanks for watching our video.We appreciate that. To answer your question it will get hot without the third heater. Many buy the sauna without the extra heater and I haven’t heard anyone complain about it getting hot enough. As far as the temperature of the heaters I can’t tell you for sure. Basically the setting is adjusted in percentage. I always set them to 100%. My goal was to get it as hot as possible to mimic a traditional sauna so that’s why we added the third heater. But otherwise the average person would be happy with 130 -150f and you should hit that without it. Honestly I think it’s more important to have a well built sauna but also keep in mind size and placement in your house. Those factors effect temperature way more. Overall you really want to make sure you are working with a good dealer. If you don’t have one I recommend in the video Julie Bishop. There are so many scams out there online that people have to do their homework. So having someone you can talk to and call as many times as needed to get your questions answered is important. Thanks for the video. Is there a way to use the speakers without bluetooth? Like a wired jack connection? And the infared heater is 25 amp but the sauna is only 20 amp right?
Hi Vinny. There is no other option I have found to use the speakers without Bluetooth. I like to watch CZcams while in there and have had no problem using the Bluetooth on our iPhone or iPad. It’s worked great. Yes the sauna is 20amp but if you get the extra heater it will actually upgrade the sauna. They will send you a separate electrical cable for the sauna. If you don’t want the extra heater the base sauna is 120v/20amp. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Thanks a bunch John. Yeah I kept researching for hours on these saunas and I couldn’t find anyone actually giving a detailed tour and review. Just that they felt good using it. I have to say it’s exceeded my expectations. It’s insulated well, heats up fast and is good quality. But you pay for what you get unfortunately and these are not cheap. Be careful on who you order from if you do. There was a dealer from MT that I heard was taking money and not sending a sauna. I actually reached out to refer our viewers to someone reputable and Julie has sold three people this sauna from our videos and they have all been happy with her service. She seems to be competitive on the price. But if you have more questions on it let me know or give Julie a ring. Do you need eye protection for the NIR HEATERS? I've heard they are dangerous for your eyes? Also can you lean back on the wood that covers the heaters? I've been in several sauna's where it is to hot. I guess that is what the back rest is for correct? Thanks
Hey thanks for watching our video we appreciate it. So I cant really give you medical advice but there is no evidence that I have read that NIR Heaters will damage the eye. With that being said I don't stare at them either. I wouldn't stare at any light fixture in general. You might be thinking suntan booths and UV light which yes you have to wear sunglasses and is also a different wavelength than NIR. I can refer you to an article in PUB MED regarding this same topic and how they used NIR light to treat eye and neurological problems. Here is the link: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7738953/#:~:text=NIR%20light%20is%20safe%20but,satisfy%20tissue%20requirements%2096%2D98. As far as the backrest goes if you look at the video where I touch the Far Infrared Panel there are wood planks in front of the FIR panels. So, I personally have never burned myself in the sauna because my body is touching the wood. I guess there could the possibility if I somehow bumped the panel between the wood planks but in 2yrs i have never done that. The backrest is more for comfortability. Hey Ryan thanks for watching our video. Honestly if you are buying the sauna for the app don’t do it. They have an app but I’m not a huge fan. They could do better on it. I thought about doing a video on it but with that being said in over a year using the sauna the app has never crossed my mind once. I turn it on and set it, work out and then hop in. Plus if you want to delay start for hours later you can do that right from the display. Hope this helps. Bluetooth does work really good on it though. Thanks again.

I would not recommend it. Only because it’s still good to have some ventilation. But there are guys online like Ben Greenfield that have hacked their saunas to by adding covers and what not. You might check those videos out.
Hi again. I did end up purchasing the aromatherapy holder (as shown in this video), but mine is very wiggly (like if you tap it accidentally hit it, it dislodges or falls out). Is yours the same way or does the prong go in snugly?
Yes. I have had that same problem. I’m not sure how to make it tighter and not so wobbly. I asked the Clearlight rep about it and she has ran into the same thing. Sorry we are both in the same boat. If you think of a solution let me know and I will do the same.
Hey Xavier thanks for watching our video. I think the Sunstream looks like a good sauna. I like the all around far infrared panels. I would question the EMF levels. I don’t know exactly how theirs tests other than what their site reports. Depending on their panels and design I would be curious by having a far infrared panel in front of you if the emf would be much higher. Personally I have never sat in a sun stream but i know the Clear light is hard to beat. We have been using it for about 2yrs now and it’s a workhorse. The front full spectrum heaters also have a big impact on the cabin temperatures. But like I said the sun stream looks like a good sauna but I personally just felt through extensive research the Clearlight came out on top. Hope this helps.

Great video! Can I clarify if the aromatherapy came with it or do I need to purchase that separately? Also, I can’t tell if the aromatherapy is plugged in or just attached to the wall? I purchased this model and am just waiting on delivery.
Congratulations on your purchase. You won’t be disappointed. The aromatherapy came with it on our model and our purchase. Depending on who you purchased from that might be different. I would check for sure. The device actually plugs in but it’s kind of unique. It’s like a one prong headphone cord looking input. It’s hard to explain and I will do a video on that. Wow your sauna has never worked? Clearlight has a really good warranty and I can direct you to a service contact as well. What sauna do you have. Ours has been a workhorse and no problems so far.

Hmm. You didn't go through a dealer? Ours has the blackfelt on the outside but the gold heat rod is new to me. Ours are red tubes when on.

Can you add radiant barrier foil on the inside of glass?

Yes. I have had that same problem. I’m not sure how to make it tighter and not so wobbly. I asked the Clearlight rep about it and she has ran into the same thing. Sorry we are both in the same boat. If you think of a solution let me know and I will do the same.

What do you think about Sunstream Saunas ?
Hey Xavier thanks for watching our video. I think the Sunstream looks like a good sauna. I like the all around far infrared panels. I would question the EMF levels. I don’t know exactly how theirs tests other than what their site reports. Depending on their panels and design I would be curious by having a far infrared panel in front of you if the emf would be much higher. Personally I have never sat in a sun stream but i know the Clear light is hard to beat. We have been using it for about 2yrs now and it’s a workhorse. The front full spectrum heaters also have a big impact on the cabin temperatures. But like I said the sun stream looks like a good sauna but I personally just felt through extensive research the Clearlight came out on top. Hope this helps.

Great video! Can I clarify if the aromatherapy came with it or do I need to purchase that separately? Also, I can’t tell if the aromatherapy is plugged in or just attached to the wall? I purchased this model and am just waiting on delivery.
Congratulations on your purchase. You won’t be disappointed. The aromatherapy came with it on our model and our purchase. Depending on who you purchased from that might be different. I would check for sure. The device actually plugs in but it’s kind of unique. It’s like a one prong headphone cord looking input. It’s hard to explain and I will do a video on that. The jar pops out so your can add essential oils to it and you pop it back in. Hope this helps. Thanks a bunch for watching our video. Cool. I didn’t know you had an Outdoor 5. Ours is a Sanctuary 2 and did need upgraded to a 30amp. Congratulations on the new sauna.

Only one here thinking the sauna is really uncomfortable even with the backrest ? It's so hard, crazy. It's a nightmare to stay so long in the sauna. Any tips ?
Yeah it can be uncomfortable. You might try putting towels down. They also sell sauna mats.

Read the Bbb before you buy. Ours has never worked. What a major disappointment.
Wow your sauna has never worked? Clearlight has a really good warranty and I can direct you to a service contact as well. What sauna do you have. Ours has been a workhorse and no problems so far.
That’s unfortunate. Every single claim or question I have had they have been prompt in helping. If you need a contact I have worked with let us know.
