Bob Marley - Wake Up and Live (Live at Amandla Festival of Unity, 1979)

Bob Marley and the Wailers perform "Wake Up And Live" ('Survival') to close out the Amandla Festival of Unity at Harvard Stadium in Boston, MA on the 21st of July, 1979!
The festival was put on to raise funds and awareness for the rebels in South Africa fighting for their independence, and Bob performed at the festival for free to help support the cause.

An all time relevant song in regard to Bob's lyrics, and as always was the case, Bob and the Wailers took a studio version of a great song and raised it to a much higher amazing musical level live - the percussion on this live version is amazing esp. at the beginning in the transition from the previous great song Zimbabwe - such a gift their music is - RIP Bob and the other Wailers who have moved on into eternal life to be with the source of all beauty, truth, and love, the living God.
