I was there! David Guetta was on before them and the whole night everyone was in speculation as to who was closing (daft punk or shm) after David it was about a 45 min wait and everyone was losing their minds waiting for some music to be played. The stage was changing, we saw them raise the dj platform about 15-20 feet higher than where it was at all weekend and the tension grew even more still not knowing who would be there. Then when they finally came on, we saw 3 silhouettes on the platform and everyone went crazy. Thousands rushed from the other stages to come see them and it was the most emotional wild experience. People were crying and hugging and jumping the whole time. I’ll never forget this night 🙌🏽 ⚫️⚫️⚫️

I was there too. The anticipation between sets was fucking crazy. Everyone WANTED it to be SHM but nobody wanted to get their hopes too high. Everyone knew we were going to see something special though. I’ll never forget this set. What a closer.

August Drabæk there were no visuals! They decided to do it that way :)
Zisakos Georgoulas noup, they had problems during the set, it also happened with the Axw and Ingrosso set, they didn’t use correctly the visuals.
Agustin Espinosa there are some speculations about that but as i know of the decided to do it that way as i said! That's why they did not use other cameras too :)
Everyone talks about the crowd, but imagine being Axwell seconds before the show looking back at his brothers knowing “we are back”
Imagine being spun out of your mind. Waiting for the secret set to close out the weekend. And then it dawns on you that after 5 years the band that probably got you into EDM, the band that your probably thought you'd never see again just shows up to surprise you.
Probably the best day of your life.
I was there. And they were the band that got me into Edm. I cried, it was one of the best moments of my life.
From an actual lover of electronic house music I don’t think many people realise how important this is, we need them back to put things right, we need new talent to come from the same love and sound of SHM. They need to save it.
And we got it look what artists like magnificence and ayor are doing right now
Jokubas Aswell as so many more, but I’m looking and thinking more towards those young kids watching and growing into what will be the outcome of Swedish House Mafias return.

The problem with todays EDM Festival crowds is that people are going there not only because of the music but rather because of the festivals reputation. In the beginnings of the 10's only the real EDM fans went to UMF, Tomorrowland and so on and nowadays there are a lot of people going there just because its mainstream.
I was there the energy with the crowd was indescribable, everyone was crying and so happy! Never had an experience like it before or since.
Apparently it's impossible to just listen to this in the background as I do work, had to watch it too. Fantastic.

I love how they lure you in with a familiar sound from their songs and then hit you with something totally new and awesome.
When SHM broke up in 2013 I thought I would never have a chance to see them perform live. I was crushed. When I saw this reunion I couldn't help but cry. It was so amazing to see the 3 of them back. We needed them so much. I am glad to say I finally got to see them live in August of 2022 at Ile Soniq in Montreal. It was certainly worth the wait. They are living legends.

I come back to this not only for the music, the story, the visuals. But to hear a crowd like this, reminds me of the good old days, this crowd knew why it was important to be there for the return of the founders.
No matter how many times I've watched this, always gives me the same level of goosebumps. I will always remember me hiding in a corner in the office watching this on Ultra live at 10am and going crazy (in a very controlled manner, naturally). It's one of my highlights in 2018! I'd never be able to afford to attend one of your reunion concerts, but damn guys, you all are my inspiration of hard creative work, and I'm glad you all are back!!!!

They had the magic touch in every song they made and they sure made history. Dance music would never be the same without SHM. It's just amazing how they had the power to make great make you feel good dance music. I really miss that 😀 I feel that Axwell was the main influencer to all their songs, his music always stands out.
