Don't let that dirty sock smudge deter you, Myles. Many folks around the world consider it rude to enter a home with their shoes on. Even in the USA it is common for tiny homes and homes with toddlers who may be crawling on that floor. Just watch out for dirt left by folks who are not as considerate as you!
Im more concerned with how dirty those floors are! 😂
Great video Myles! Having your socks double as an ink pad is brilliant! If you need toe prints or fingerprints, you’re always ready!

Brinkley is by far in my opinion the best when it comes to RVs i want one so bad this one is stunning i plan to eventually live in one fulltime with my wife in a few years hopefully we are lucky enough to have a Brinkley this one to be exact

The side bedroom windows don’t open? Gosh, that’s a deal breaker for me. I love this 5th Wheel. Just a little bit more space in that back hallway leading into the patio, would be great for storing ebikes.
The Brinkley company made a smart decision to make a it feel open and residential looking. I love how the back patio layout is just like inside. Most outdoor kitchen areas feel like some cubby that just has a fridge and tv mounted.
On that note I haven’t seen any motorized RV with a patio. I think that would be a game changer for ppl like me that don’t want to tow.

Love that patio. I'm torn on it though, it would be great for summer time adventures, but I'd like to see how it holds up against heavy weather. And I always appreciate tall people friendly showers.
It was really fun and gratifying to see that Brinkley implemented the suggestion I made to move the sink on the patio over to the right to avoid splashing water all over the tv screen when the sink was in the middle. 💕😎🤠

I love the back porch and all the finishes are gorgeous. This would be perfect for the empty nesting years, for me personally id love to see a unit with the back porch, a small dishwasher under the sink, sleeping for 2 kids, and an enclosed office space. I definitely dont need such a spacious kitchen if im not fultiming and would be drawn toward a unit with more compact utilization of spaces. The multifunctional table is a great example of that, those kinds of details are exactly what draws me towards a particular unit.
I’m from Los Angeles so I might have to take the 2 hour drive to San Diego just to check out the RV show.
Mike Thompson RV in Colton has them. In fact all the Mike Thompson RVs carry them. They also have one in Santa Fe Springs which is probably closer to you. Good luck in your search.

Question about the patio door/floor: Is it weather-resistant or weather-proof? Is the door made by Lippert? I found out several years ago that these patio doors cannot be left open in rain or snow, as they are only weather-resistant. Any warping, rot, etc from water intrusion will NOT be covered under warranty. That is the reason for my question.
This is a beautiful, liveable unit.

I wonder about the screen assist handle from the inside. In that the pet guard screen is already installed, wouldn't that bar make it easier for a pet to get out? We have 2 Irish Setters and they can be pretty resourceful. I can see our 85 lb boy pushing the bar with his nose and walking down the steps to go on a journey. I'm sure the 55 lb girl would follow just to keep him out of trouble. Is there a way to lock or disable the push bar?
I would prefer a queen if it meant having bedside tables. I hate shelves in the bedroom above my head.
Living room seems a bit crowded. I would shorten the kitchen a bit and make the living room larger

Just looked up the specs if the 3400. My 3/4-ton is gas so I have 3500# of cargo capacity. I could do the TW of the 3400, but the GVWR is at the Max of my 5W towing. If I had a diesel there would be too little truck cargo capacity for the TW of the 3/4. For something like this being almost 39' I personally would want a 1-ton dually, but I am a full-timer who like to ride in comfort. As we head back to Chicago from our summer jobs in CO we will look at a couple of Z 2900's that appear to be in the sweet spot of our truck's cargo & towing capacity. The reason we have a gas truck is we only tow 2 months of the year, the rest we are stationary working or snowbirding. We have so much less problems not using a diesel as a grocery go-getter which never warms up enough going from RV Park to the store before being shutdown. In the USFS campgrounds there is often no power for the diesel engine block heaters on those cold shoulder seasons, lol. Everyone is different though, full-timing for 16+ years the industry has sure changed around from where we started in 2008. Cheers, Davey

some inspectors will not inspect Brinkleys because they double tape controls so cannot get to them. So inspector does not want their name on it

Thank you Myles for another great presentation! However, I have to say in the RV that only has comfortable seating for two people in the living room is no good at all. Might as will not even make it. I do not like the patio I prefer if it’s like that wait for it to be like a toy hauler so it has the beds to sleep at least four extra people. To me this is just a total waste. Not that it’s not real nice. It’s very well built and it’s very nice looking. It’s just that I can see so much wasted on this Rv.
