I was born in 97 but I remember watching him as early and he and Shaqs titles and he’s 100% where I got my love for basketball from, but more important I think his competitive spirit rubbed off a little on anyone who watched him, weather it was in sports or in something else in life. And knowing he went into the league at 17 always made me believe you really could do anything if you give it 100%. No one was a bigger inspiration to me and I can only imagine countless others as well. Don’t usually cry when celebrities pass but this one hit me almost like one of my friends was gone. RIP 💛💜

Broo this is so sad, im 24 I grew up watching him play. Kobe was my favorite basketball player, he would accomplish the unthinkable and would surprise everyone, he was like a superhuman. His last two championships against orlando magic and boston celtics were probably the most ridiculous finals ive seen him play. He would score 50 pts per game. Man Im really lucky i saw him play.

Kobe played ball 6 hours a day as a teenanger and, made the NBA in high school. Plus he's one of the only people ever that could push through that sort of stress constantly on your shoulder personal life and beef with teamates. His insane determination to be great was very admirable and he deserves much respect for everything he did for the game. 🙏

The first and only NBA finals i ever seen was Lakers vs Nets....im not a basketball fan but Kobe Bryant is really the only NBA player i know anything about. And apparently from everything i have heard recently he was a far better man than basketball player, sure he had issues who doesn't but when you hear people speak of him, you watch interviews he done he was humble, gracious and dignified and he felt remorse, it is a pity the world often remembers the things which people do in sports, hopefully the world remembers Kobe Bryant as a role model and good man not just a basketball player.
