This looks like fun. It looks like they gave a lot of thought to design, ergonomics.

Maximum bodily comfort, easiest conversation, head/neck perfectly positioned for vision, no balance needed, maximized scenery and wildlife viewing from mobile recliner.
    YUP!

Never doubt that someone will steal it given half a chance. I had my trike stolen in Germany 2013. If you want a frame lock you would want it on the front wheel not the back. I through my U lock through the front wheel when there is nothing to hook the lock around because the thief will have to carry it and if the lock is around the rear wheel the thief can walk away with it by just lifting the rear wheel off the ground.
I will attest to how fantastic the Rohloff is, though I have the cable actuated ones on both of my trikes though mine both have extended range as the both have dual chain rings on their bottom brackets.
I have leaf spring suspension on the front is really effective. One of my trikes (I call it my mountain trike) has leaf spring suspension and it is super. With an air shock on the rear wheel I can rip over speed bumps nearly like they are not even there.
I have been meaning to one day to drop into your store in Chemainus.
On trike safety on the roads, where traffic is low and the visibility is high, trikes are safe. There are places where I will not ride which involves high traffic volumes at high speed with out shoulders not wide enough to maintain a reasonable distance from the traffic flow. Germany is a great country for cycling. I hear that Victoria is implement a new cycling infrastructure. Vancouver Island offers some pretty good cycling. There is a place not far from where I live that is a bit dangerous for cycling and it is on a heavily used cycling route, which would be near suicidal on a trike as the trike intrudes more onto the roadway that does a bike.
Thanks for your video it was really interesting.

i'd be interested in a direct comparison of this tadpole design to the kettweisel trigo and as a fat tire on a trail and beach. I'm looking at e-assist trikes and trying to decide. I want something capable of good uphill AND downhill and off-road, like a max-capacity farm truck replacement for grocery-getting and adventuring. Pony4 quads also interest me in that regard. I love the bike RV videos i'm seeing by people like Max le Bourlingueur. I am over 50 and was rendered homeless by the 2020 PNW fires and that setup looks pretty amazing. The tandem trike looks like an interesting way to make an rv platform. It would eliminate the need for a trailer. I'm seriously thinking of ditching my vehicle for one of these because of the expense and terrible roadways. For awareness, I think everyone should watch Stroads by Not Just Bikes.

Great footage with the new camera Kelly!
    Does it have reverse? Lol.
No seriously does it have reverse?😊

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video Tim! We had a fantastic time recording the ride test and actually spent a few weeks before and afterwards riding it around Ruhpolding.
Although it doesn't have reverse, it rolls really well, so you can put your feet down and push yourself backwards, or even grab onto the front wheels to move backwards.
Another trike that you learn pretty quickly on trikes is to parallel park to make it easy to get going again - like I did in the video when we stopped to look at the waterfall. I also find myself relying on gravity to move me backwards by parking on slight inclines!

I like this with full suspension and I can afford it! 17.000 € 😅
    But I want belt drive.

A lighted flagpole can be used to alert cars since recombent trikes are so low. Cheap amazon add on. I would prefer even larger wheels, around 700mm. Do front wheels tilt for turns?

How would you transport this bike?

There are lots of good options to consider. Some of our customers use this: citruscycles.ca/easy-load-tray-trike-vehicle-rack If you have a vehicle it would fit inside, such as a minivan, this ramp is handy: citruscycles.ca/easy-load-trike-ramp A small utility trailer works as well.

Are you and your wife able to carry on a conversation, or point out things to each other while you are peddling along? Can you hear each other well? My wife and I both have recumbent trikes, but unless we are right next to each other on a wide enough trail, we have trouble hearing each other.

Yes, we've had some great conversations while riding the Bambuk, as we can hear each other very well. I'll often point things out and she will grab her phone and do a video or takes some pictures. She will even graciously hand me snacks while we are riding, as it we are close enough to chat and to share food!
