This was a guest performance on Singer 2018, a year after he competed on the show. There were a couple of people in the backstage shots worth seeing from that year. Hua Chenyu (see "Nunchucks" to start), and Tengri ("Heaven"). Unfortunately, since it is the season for the Singer show, it is dangerous to react to these because of copyright strike possibilities.(They might even come after this one eventually.) Also, Jessie J was backstage waiting to go on next, and there is a video of her watching the climax of Dimash's performance, and saying "Wow" over and over.

You are so right first of all I'm sure you may know by now, that Dimash's real name is; Dinmakhammed kanatuly kudaibergen from Kazakhstan which is a dominantly Muslim country and so is dimash a devoted Muslim. Dimash is someone who will definitely be very liked by reactioners, vocal coaches, singers and even opera singers. What is seen and heard from the video of the song or in live, which Dimash sings, are all manifestations of all what they have learned. What the ordinary people or even vocal experts think that the "male voice" or anything else can't do, he can do well. Yes, it is all thanks to practice, hard work and persistence. The original source is the nomadic Turkic tribes who moved throughout Central Asia, Eastern Europe from Russia to the Baltic, and the Baltic States themselves. The vertical flute, the 2-stringed lute, the rain stick, etc (all have different names in various regions) were originally the instruments of the nomads and that signing style was part of their shamans’ “magic.” The Khazaks and their neighbors claim direct descent from the nomads, but Russians, Romanians, Serbians, etc., also have a genetic link thanks to widespread rampages of Attila the Hun. If you would like to watch an insightful interview with him at age 21, (link below) one year before the 2017 Singer competition, this one tells why he is so humble and feels a responsibility to his spiritual values to give his best. I knew he had turned down countless offers from producers partictularly in the U.S, claiming they are deceitful. This was borne out during the 2019 World's Best competition when the producers lied to him, forcing him to withdraw after he was the prohibitive favorite after 3 songs, likely costing him millions in endorsements. The show tried to lie in the press claiming he had a contract but they didn't tell how he said he would only appear if he did not have to compete against children. He withdrew so they could be given a stage. He doesn't trust any producer which is why he produces himself to this day. Сербская музыка, как мне кажется подверглась значительному турецкому влиянию и много оттуда заимствовала. Эти флейты, ударные... Получился интересный микс турецкой и старославянкой музыки. Возможно византийское, персидское влияние, ну, и конечно арабская музыка, которая распространилась в Средней Азии с исламом. В том числе и в Казахстане. Это традиции минаретного пения, которые мы и слышим в песне. И эти же мотивы можно услышать в песне «Зайди, зайди» и, например, «Desert rose» Стинга. А традиционная казахская музыка - это немного другое, это замечательная домбра, хрипловатая и двуструнная, её можно услышать в композиции Димаша «Дайдидау». Это особое горловое пение, что мы слышим в песне «Грешная страсть». Когда слушаю перед глазами сразу встаёт бескрайняя степь от горизонта до горизонта, стада лошадей вдалеке, юрты и ветер, играющий с травой.. =)

Great and informative reaction as usual. It is fantastic to learn that Serbian has similar singing characteristics as Middle Eastern Arabic. I do recommend reacting to videos as you watch them for the first time with your audience. We watch reactions to see people we like discover amazing performances and remember how we felt upon seeing them for the first time. Seeing that thrill of discovery is a big part of it. I know that if you prepare what you want to talk about after watching them privately first is very useful, but perhaps you can combine the two by inserting things you forgot to mention the first time you watched while you edit your clips?
Brava Katarina ! He shows his skills as usual , but this is not the pathos of the original song , a love song with any scream ( exp the last part ) or melismas . It is a sweet , love song . and I do not personally think need all these things ; Lionel Ritchie original is another thing , another "intention" . Fact that he is the best singer of all times . You mention in one video how his head voice is easy singing, now I guess that he mixes that more than most people think. So his high long mix notes are probably easier for him than most people think.

I do recommend reacting to videos as you watch them for the first time with your audience. We watch reactions to see people we like discover amazing performances and remember how we felt upon seeing them for the first time. Seeing that thrill of discovery is a big part of it. I know that if you prepare what you want to talk about after watching them privately first is very useful, but perhaps you can combine the two by inserting things you forgot to mention the first time you watched while you edit your clips?

Brava Katarina ! He shows his skills as usual , but this is not the pathos of the original song , a love song with any scream ( exp the last part ) or melismas . It is a sweet , love song . and I do not personally think need all these things ; Lionel Ritchie original is another thing , another "intention" . Fact that he is the best singer of all times . My opinion .

You mention in one video how his head voice is easy singing, now I guess that he mixes that more than most people think. So his high long mix notes are probably easier for him than most people think.
